Was Journey a puzzle game? I finished it and enjoyed it but I remember it being press forward to progress and little else. Been a while now to be fair. Anyway, Cocoon sounds great and I'm definitely picking it up.
It's an interesting idea for sure. It'd be wasted on me because it's not the kind of game I'd replay for a long time, but plenty will and it gives them a cool incentive to do so.
I don't think they've got an agenda regarding console preference, seems to me that they're generally harsh and don't reward mediocrity.
It seems like Starfield is designed to be played multiple times, is that appealing? I'm not saying it isn't because I haven't played it but the last thing I want to do after finishing an epic like ES or Fallout is dive straight back in.
Cool, really enjoyed Dredge and I've been looking forward to some DLC. Top indie game.
I think everyone who isn't still playing GTAO feels forgotten by Rockstar.
So a very well established and beloved (not by you, clearly) developer has a hiccup with one spin off title, despite them having several other games in development, and therefore the company is, to quote you, "self imploding".
Ha. Nowhere near reality.
Who said there were trailers? As far as I'm concerned if Naughty Dog say they're working on a single player game I believe them. It's not exactly a far fetched scenario. Are you saying they're lying?
May this year Naughty Dog announced they're working on a "brand new single player experience" as well as "our other games in development", which don't include TLoU multiplayer.
Sorry to disappoint you and your imaginary doom and gloom scenario.
"Meanwhile in the PS camp, the CEO is on his way out and Naughty Dog are self-imploding..."
I think most people are happy about Ryan retiring, I wouldn't say it was a negative.
Naughty Dog have one spin off multiplayer game which appears to be in trouble. It's one game not the whole company, wild exaggeration to suggest that as a whole they're imploding.
Sales wise RE5 remake would be the safest bet for a big success. I wish they'd take a bit of a chance and take on CV though, it could (probably would) end up being one of the classic games in their history.
This might ring true a bit more if they'd been humble about it and owned up to their mistakes, but the PR from CDPR since Cyberpunk launched has been horrible.
They really need to improve in that department, it's been own goal after own goal all while the game gets better and better. Sours it a bit.
I never said I had played it, I have played video games before though. There are many better ways to make a game easier than dumbing down the AI. That might actually be the worst way.
Would it not be better to have an intelligent AI to fight against, but balance it by adjusting damage, ship speed etc. It strikes me as a very tough to swallow excuse.
Nerds be nerding.
Gameplay's looking great, really solid and more fun than the vast majority of RPGs.
I was a latecomer (understatement) to the first game and I struggled to get into it because it was dated visually but there was still a lot to like. No such problem with the new game graphics are very good.
Is it really that good? I doubt it. Good DLC no doubt but Blood & Wine was special.
I watched the trailer and it was disappointingly normal looking. The bosses being called Steve and Nigel was about the weirdest part.
Zero chance that Xbox is more profitable than PS and we find out about it from a leak rather than them shouting it from the rooftops. There's a reason they're always coy about talking about profits and only mention revenue.
Good for them. An original idea very well executed.
