Seems to be focused purely on what will make the most money and while that's understandable it may be a bit shortsighted. A GTA show of the quality of TLoU would be a great companion to the games as well as being profitable in itself.
I don't know, I can't blame them for being obsessed with profit. I just don't like them very much these days. Lost a lot of respect for them over the last decade.
I wouldn't say it looks great but it looks damn good considering the limitations. I was impressed.
Interesting looking game. Bit like a wildlife themed Firewatch but with its own stuff going on, specifically the minigames and visuals.
Looks a solid product to me. Every handheld I've used would have been better with a full size controller attached and a big ass screen. Never been a fan of gaming in public or mobile gaming beyond strategy games.
Nothing mind blowing but a good practical thing to own for a lot of people, especially those who live with family.
Depends how far they take it. Personally I wouldn't mind some of the Red Dead maturity to move across to GTA. Let's hope they've got almost all the quality writers that game had.
Well that's a nice idea. Clever too.
Sounds cool. This is why I'm more into indie games (and films) these days, it's not the same old stuff.
Nonsense.
I couldn't get on with Prey either, sounded great on paper but I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't think I like Arkane, tried to get into Dishonored years before and it left me cold.
Ok I'll do it but the wife won't be happy.
I don't know about that, I don't think anyone's daft enough to believe that if someone buys a completed product they're responsible for the quality of said product.
It's just a bit of fun.
I don't think anyone's seriously suggesting MS had anything to with it, they've only owned them five minutes. It is a bit funny though.
Absolutely they were. It's an interesting bit of news, it suggests all is not well between MS and Xbox division. More than suggests that MS aren't happy with Spencer specifically.
bunt-custardly
In a comedy horror you expect tongue in cheek reactions, I don't think you'd describe The Evil Within like that though it took itself pretty seriously.
Common complaint of mine that with horror games. I remember the guy from Evil Within was bad for it, the most mind bendingly crazy stuff would happen to him and he'd be like "oh" or make a gag. Doesn't help to sell it.
Yeah that giant baby monster thing from Resi Village was rough. I think it only killed me once the first time I encountered it and panicked but it was a nasty way to go. I was happy to get out of there.
Not for me either. I believe it's growing in popularity, as is watching other people play video games in general, but personally I couldn't be less interested. Still feels like a liberty that the had the cheek to call it a sport.
But they acquired harebrained schemes ages ago...
I don't see how that would work, at all. The only part that would translate at all well into a game is the end section and that was very limited in scale. Bizarre idea for me.
I don't know if I'd describe the audience as narrow. Not huge maybe but it's hardly that niche. Development costs must have been small as well considering that it's a controller cut in half and stuck to a screen. The intern could probably have knocked it up.
I don't mean that as an insult btw I know it's a well made product. Just low risk.
