As others have said...there's no childish side to it because that implies there's an adult side to console wars. There isn't.
Very true, I'm not as much of a pleb as it might sound, I read item descriptions and look things up online that interest me. Fascinating games. I just often have a feeling that I don't really understand exactly what's going on.
Never heard of it which is odd because I know their previous games.
Do you think that when slavery was still widespread the slavers said things like "I don't agree that slavery is wrong, respect my opinion the same way that I do those that disagree with me"?
I've played and beaten all of From's games since Demon's Souls and I still don't really understand what's going on. I quite like the idea of being a warrior who is constantly willingly diving into hell and climbing back out afterwards having conquered it, without having spent time dwelling on what it all means.
Can't stand Suarez but as long as he's not biting me while I'm trying to play it I don't care if he's on the box.
It felt like it couldn't decide if it was a surreal head f**k horror experience or a solid upgrade related look in every nook and cranny traditional gameplay type game. I'd like them to pick one and excel at it. Also, the characters were boring and I didn't care about any of them particularly.
I think we're all ready for some Cyberpunk footage, feels like it's been forever. I'm very intrigued.
The ideal new FF for me would be open world and turn based. They need to come up with a great story first and foremost, hasn't happened for ages. That's the most important thing.
Definitely not no it looks good, I'm still playing PC1. Challenging but fun.
Forza > PC2 > GT. I'll probably never play Forza as I've got a PS4 but that's my honest opinion.
Not a lot wrong with the gameplay but I have long felt that the series has a lack of flair. Everything off the track looks flat and plain, yes technically the engine sounds may be accurate now but the roar of an engine is you hearing the soul of the car and again it's a little flat.
I'm not saying you should be driving through fireworks and explosions but a bit of flair in the art and sound design would go a long way to complement the sim gameplay.
There's a lot that I'd like them to do differently in the next ES game but the biggest thing for me is the combat. Something like a first person Dark Souls would be ideal for me. Not necessarily as punishing but the feel of impact and stamina management.
I think we all know why.
As much as I love the GOW games I've never found Kratos to be interesting, the things he does are amazing and no doubt he's an iconic character but he's pretty much just the personification of rage with not a lot else going on. Looks like they're going to change that with the new game, I was happy the way it was personally but it'll be cool to see how they handle it.
As a long time PS player Forza is the one franchise I've always been envious of. GT hasn't evolved much since the PS2, it's still bland and sterile with the dullest engine sounds I've ever heard in a racing game. Forza has it beaten on every count apart from a certain authenticity that GT still holds the crown for but I play games for fun not for realism.
Baffling that they're stuck in the conceptual stage despite being, ironically, a soulless Souls knock off. Still a decent game but you would have thought the planning for the sequel would have involved watching a bit of footage from subsequent Souls games and putting together another basic storyline. Maybe they should make a 2D version, would be cheaper and easier I imagine.
Spot on, there are loads of harder games out there but none that make balancing difficulty an art form to the levels that From games do. All those games, all those deaths and barely a solitary cheap one among them.
Every car or like 30% of them?
There are a lot of people who have never played the game but who are very passionate and vocal about how much they hate it. They should get a life and move on. The investigation into it found that Hello Games were not guilty of misleading consumers. Time to take a deep breath and realise your bile is misplaced and unwanted.
