It's early and my brain is only functioning at 30% capacity so this might be a stupid question, what's auto mode something to do with difficulty level?
There's always a chance they'll resurrect the series when the time is right. I'm sure it's made them a lot of money and one blip doesn't seem enough to kill it. They need to respect the series more and prioritise it.
People aren't half making a big fuss about almost nothing here. In the IGN review they mention it as an afterthought saying something like "I never came close to it happening to me" and I've seen IGN play games, pro gamers they are not.
I think people just enjoy making a fuss and picking holes in things.
I remember the days of games where you have three lives to last you the whole game so this concept doesn't faze me. I'm sure that if it happened to me I'd be pissed off for a while but it's hardly a big deal in a short game.
Maybe so. But if that's not what consumers want then why is it what they're being served up?
They don't always make the best decisions and this is a stinker. The majority of people will want a solid SP experience and they're somehow oblivious to that.
Why is this a thing? Destiny isn't renowned for its art style.
Did they confuse the Championship with the Champions League or something?
I think the deal with whoever the advertiser is (they're too annoying to actually look) will expire before long.
It's funny to me how people that would chew their right hand off to get with girls like her in the real world are like "hmmm, body ok but boobs a little too big and eyes not symmetrical, it's a no from me".
I suppose it was a bit of a drop in quality, from a 9 to a 7 maybe, but it doesn't belong on a worst ever sequels list. I also preferred the medieval setting but in fairness a more modern feel does suit the franchise better.
I liked DMC2, don't remember much about it other than cheesing the final boss but it was a solid sequel. FF13 was crap.
Yep, pesky little buggers that hover around and don't like being shut down. Annoying.
Yeah because she'd look twice at you pal.
I think because I have a lot of patience when it comes to waiting for games I want it doesn't bother me much when games are released that need a patch, as long as it comes relatively quickly. I'll think "bit of a poor effort" and shelve the game for the time being but I'm not left devastated.
They are just games after all and there's plenty of them to play when one isn't quite ready.
You have the target to aim for and you work for it, doesn't have to be any more complex than that. Making things more complicated isn't necessarily a good thing.
FF holds up pretty well eh.
Some games I prefer to play on normal because I don't always want a hardcore challenge when I play a game. Others like football games I have to play on the hardest difficulty or it's too easy. RPGs are usually the harder the better because it makes your choices about upgrading your character important and increases immersion because you don't become unrealistically powerful, not early on anyway, and every encounter has weight to it.
Yeah I wasn't particularly into it for a while but by the time I'd finished the Baron's quest and met the crones I'd realised what a special game I had.
I get that there's a lot to do in SP but it doesn't sound like it'll be much fun. It's not a true career mode, far from it. Shame to end the series like that.
