Yeah in the same way that watching paint dry is technically doing something. There's no gameplay to speak of in Journey and while it was an ok experience I didn't love it.
I didn't enjoy Journey that much, it was pretty to look at but it was too passive for me. I like something to do in a relaxing game or I'm probably going to get bored.
It's not a tonal mess, it's just got a weird sense of humour. It doesn't try and be funny when it shouldn't.
In an ideal world this wouldn't be necessary but the world isn't ideal and if you want to play the best football game ever made then it's well worth your time to do a bit of work before diving in.
Looks alright, not as good but perfectly serviceable.
Good review.
Personally I'd rather play a genuinely good game then watch some hentai, but to be fair this does look kind of fun gameplay wise.
Totally agree about GTA4. The story was excellent if joyless but the city setting was extremely dull to me and as someone who has always got on great with vehicle handling in GTA I hated it in 4. The story and characters were miles better than in 5 but those things are less important to me than the game world, what there is to do in it and how much fun you have doing it.
Looks a bit like a visually unappealing Darkest Dungeon.
Child of Light on PS+ is one I'd recommend, it's incredibly soothing to play but at the same time isn't just a passive experience it has deep gameplay to enjoy while you're relaxing and exploring.
Played loads of games on the PES demo, didn't even get to half time in the first game on FIFA before I switched it off.
Well it's got the options hasn't it with the liveries and the hood blowers. You could have two cars and they'd be totally different but both still cool.
This is a beaut of a car. Not the purple one in the pic but the car itself, nice drive too.
Good review but I'd like to hear more about the Master League seeing as it's what I play 99% of the time. I guess it's the same old same old.
I thought the article was about visual design in which case Master Chief is as generic as it gets and TLOU characters are just Ellen Page and Nathan Drake with a beard. Abe was cool though, there were a lot of interesting designs in that series.
Of course not. Rockstar aren't going to create their ideal version for PS4 and Xbox and also create an entirely different dumbed down version for the Switch. No chance.
Nice one. I'm glad that these things still exist that stand against the overwhelming PC that is currently strangling pretty much everything.
From what I've seen I'd have to agree. They could have remastered it with more detailed sprites, animations and everything else that comes with a 2017 game. As it is the basic and bland 3D look isn't doing it any favours.
I bought the GOTY version and it certainly is a masterpiece. Whether or not it shipped with bugs it doesn't have many, if any, now.
Seems a fair review, the first game was punishing too. Btw I think you mean faint of heart @ Alexious.
