I've liked QTEs in all games they've featured, does make me panic and gives a sense of achievement.
I feel career mode needed something as it got a little boring. What they've done looks entertaining to me so I'm excited for this one.
I thought the only thing better in AC2 was story, the revenge plot was good. There wasn't enough emphasis on what you were fighting fo in brotherhood for me. Apart from that was better in every way.
I had a go on the beta, got to around level 10 and got bored with it. Personally I would not pay a subscription, I just won't play it often enough. I've experienced some microtransactions models and that could work for me, I'd buy it then but not for a subscription.

I only own a PS3 so I'm glad it's coming. I agree the article didn't really convince me that the PS3 version is any better. I would much rather have played the first game than watch a comic.

You're spot on. LBP2 is likely a big improvement on the original. But it's just that a LBP is not THE ORIGINAL, it's lost the novelty bonus is all. 85 is still a great score and definitely won't put me off the purchase.
I can definitely see this happening. With the next CoD there will be "free" multiplayer and better subscription multiplayer.
Hand to hand combat looks great, love the slow mo! Maybe the lines are lit up because he's chasing someone? I didn't see a mini map so how else would you know where to go if you lost sight of the target.
I would definitely add Heavy Rain to your list, epic isn't the right word fir it but it's an experience that shouldn't be missed.
Most of their choices i agree with. Best visuals must be referring to ME2 on PC because GoWIII flogs ME2 on consoles. And innovative game of the year should have went to Heavy Rain, AC:B wasn't all that different from AC2.
I assume it is more the publisher making the devs release the game before it's completely ready.

I've played about a dozen hours of the beta and personally I'm already bored of it. If you're an MMO or DC fan you'll likely love it. If MMOs haven't grasped your attention in the past this one probably won't either.
I agree, wouldn't have a problem with RDR overall game of the year and multiplat game of the year but if your going to call something PS3 game of the year it should go to an exclusive. GoWIII I loved but Heavy Rain was such a novel experience I'd have to pick it as my PS3 GoTY.
I'm not much of a pc gamer but I did recently put in a new video card as it was reasonably priced (new as in not second hand). I hate playing pc games not at their full potential, feel like I'm missing something. Would this run it well enough;

I mostly agree with you but I was happy enough with the in-game graphics. Some of the cut scene textures are a little low and the voice acting at times could be better. Certaintly excited to play this but my expectations were not entirely met.
I'm beta testing this now and I agree that I there is a good chance this will fail. I expect a large number of players at the beginning but these will quickly plumit. New games come out fairly often on consoles, as soon as somebodies attention is on a different game for the majority of a month they'll see their subscription as a waste of money and cancel. Some will anticipate this and cancel before that month arrives. Also if the beta is what we're getting on release this game wil...
As far as i know it's just the €13. I heard there plan is small monthly updates to keep console gamers happy with the subscription and then less often the large updates (no extra cost). The store is for a microtranaction model I haven't heard a lot about, hopefully they're just cosmetic changes (style) you can buy.

Mine was a mostly green female with a long green cape, I revived a few people and mostly healed.
This annoys me too. Don't hold content back so you can sell it to us as DLC. Feels like I'm being cheated when they announce this before release and even when DLC comes out close to the launch date.
