I wonder how many of these GTA naysayers would say GTA isn't worthy of a 10 if was the timed exclusive they wanted it to be...Yes, I too can come up with ridiculous conspiracies...And yes, I too sound like an idiot.
So because they don't give out high scores to undeserving PS3 games, they're "haters"? All of the PS3 exclusive titles up to this point have ranged from terrible to really good, but none have been great. Not until now...And look at that, they gave the game the score it deserves. The only game I've seen them review for the PS3 that I didn't agree with the score was Ratchet and Clank. It should have been an 8 or and 8.5.

Sadly, even though MGS 4 is a vastly superior to Halo 3 in every way (save for Co-op which makes even decent games that much better) I don't see it doing for PS3 what Halo did for the 360.
Resistance - Good, not great
Motorstorm - Meh, not into racing
Ninja Gaiden Sigma - Can't stand Hack and Slash games
Heavenly Sword - See above
Warhawk - Had it, got rid of it
Ratchet and Clank Future - Very good
Unreal Tournament 3 - eh, no
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue - Again, not a fan or racing

Don't get me wrong, so far this game is worthy of the rating, but I find it hilarious that SO many people were crying foul about GTA's 10, saying IGN is biased, scared of falling from Rockstar's favor, and coming up with conspiracy theories that would make Oliver Stone proud...And yet this game gets a 10 and it's a fair score. I'm glad you said this because that's exactly why I own a PS3 AND a 360.
But, when I soley owned a 360 Resistance was NOT one of the games that influenced my decision to pruchase a PS3 and neither was Gran Turismo...I bought my PS3 for MGS 4 and FF XIII...I bought it earlier to play Uncharted. Uncharted was the first game that made me say "Damn, I wish I had a PS3". Great game.
