Still randomly play Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds every now and then. I still think it's one of the ps3's best games, or at least most fun, and definitely my favorite sports game for the system (to be fair, I don't play many sports games). Hopefully they'll release a new one for ps4.
I actually agreed with all the games. All the games' previous entries were awesome, and none of them are really milked like, say, Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty.
Main one I want on the list is Borderlands 3, as I really loved the 2nd one. The authors thoughts are good too. Since there is a good chance the game will move to a new planet, the game has a good chance to offer something very different. Will have a hard time coming up with a villain as good (and funny...
Yeah, I think people forget that Nintendo does very well in the market, but their E3 presentations are generally embarrassing (Skyward Sword presentation, Reggie (in general), etc.).
It's not a major knock on Nintendo, since the E3 press event, while a big deal, is a small portion of video game advertisement in the long run.
I'm not a big fan of motion controls since 90%+ of the games are complete shovelware, but I still believe there is potential for it, as long as it's not overused or the main focus (like Wii). The LBP demo was great, and I could see much more unique implementations than the junk we normally receive.
I'm sure the WiiU will get some great games by years end, but the difference is that when it was said about the ps3, it was complete BS, since there were tons of great 3rd party games, something Nintendo doesn't really have as much of. Either way though, these types of articles (well, the doomed articles) are inevitable if a console isn't doing stellar, and can almost always be ignored (along with the articles about the articles).
Whether or not it was considered a failure by players or SE, there is a good chance the announcements just stopped because the game shifted focus to next generation. I would not be surprised in the least if the game is announced as FFXV for the ps4, and they have been working on it as such for the past couple of years.
@Knight_Crawler
While nothing official, is has been rumored that Sony started helping with it's development, but it's just a rumor. Nothing has been stated on whether or not it's still an exclusive.
If the game does get transferred over to next generation, the chances of it becoming multi-platform go up some if Sony isn't helping, since the ps4/720 aren't radically different to develop for like the ps3/360 and releasing on both wouldn'...
@sidar "Sure you can be a believer of God and practice science. But Science already debunked tons of claims made by the bible. They are in no way "compatible". But you are free to believe what you want. No one is disputing that."
Please do tell, give some examples. Always a blind response. Sure, there are many faith-based aspects of the Bible that can't be proven either way, but the Bible has been considered one of the oldest and most accurate histor...
The only problem with this is that LttP is near perfection. Some of the stuff I've seen in the gameplay takes away from the game, not adds to it (mainly the two things Merrill mentioned, and that the game loses a lot of it's charm going 3D).
Thankfully they weren't stupid enough to add the changes and make this a remake, and instead are making it a similar, but different game.
I prefer the 2D sprites (MUCH prefer), but I realize that's just a...
Probably the only one, but I like the 2D original look much more. Of course, LttP is one of my all time favorite games (definitely favorite Zelda game), so I might be jaded a bit.
There are some nice parts, but the lighting is off, and there are no character shadows. That REALLY takes away from the images (and why they look "flat"). I have faith they will fix that, because The Witcher 2 is still one of the best looking games there is, and it didn't have those problems.
If the article was not littered with a ridiculous amount of grammar errors, I might find the article "funnier." (Although, making fun of Pachter is always a good idea.)
While the premise is correct, the WiiU is definitely not doomed so early in it's life, talking about it (in sarcastic form) as if it's the most unfair thing ever is stupid. The PS3 had far more "is doomed" articles than the WiiU ever will (unless it actually does end up doomed). ...

The fact of the matter is, it all comes do...
Hold on Hold on....Bruce Wayne is Batman?...no reason to even buy the game now. =(
(hmm...realized you didn't really say that...maybe I should put spoiler tags *gasp*)
Lebron, Wade and Chalmers didn't even play in the 4th game. Would hardly consider that game even worth mentioning.
People can hate all they want, but fact of the matter is, Lebron has brought more popularity to the NBA than anyone since Jordan. He's by far the most popular player in the NBA and has never been on the cover, so I think it's stupid if they don't.
Based on the title:
If anyone is badass enough to rescue Snake and not have Snake feel ashamed, it would be Jack Bauer.
While it kind of sucks if they aren't, considering how good the first two Batman games were, it would still be great to see them make some other super-hero game.
I'm not sure what exactly I would want to see, but a dark-gritty version of some other super-hero would be great. Maybe a Superman game with the tone that the new movie has (at least appears to). If Rocksteady wants a challenge, making a Superman game in a dark world with free-roam capabilities (like Batman...
Look at it like this: You know a game is good when less than a week after release it gets articles about why it's overrated.
Never understood the people that whine "no game deserves a perfect score." A 10/10 doesn't make a game perfect, it just means that it's very good and there are no major flaws worth taking the score down a notch.
People give WAY too much credence to the review score numbers. That number doesn't mean all that much by itself. It's just a way for the reviewer to numerically judge the game. The review itself is far more important. A 10/10 game, for m...
Great character, and with Season Pass, I'll definitely be trying it out.
More interested in the new character (Krieg) coming soon, but really like the sound of this new DLC (well, based on the name...since that's all we really got ;) ). The other DLC's have all been good, so no reason to think this one, with a better main side-character, will be any different.
