doubtful.
The problem with Uwe Boll is that he is completely f*cking ignorant on how to represent anything in an artistic, comprehensive, and elegant way. This douchebag is full of sh*t and totally irresponsible. I continue to wonder why and how the hell any stories on him get through on N4G. I beg you all, stop letting this jerk-off on our gaming site!
Yea, ok, I don't have to buy it and it should be fun for the few people who like to make/watch celebrities spaz on a dance floor but seriously couldn't we focus some effort into making quality, in-depth, fun, and lasting games?
How about a kick-azz RPG for the Wii? Anyone? Maybe an action/shooter like a Contra revision? Anyone? Please 3rd party Wii developers, NO MORE TV/MOVIE/DANCE/SING/SHALLOW GAMES. You're making yourselves look like a bunch of 60 year old basket-weavers.
snakeak, you hit bullseye with that comment and TheSadTruth definately pointed out the sad truth. The girl demographic that prefers the Wii is the majority of girl gamers, which includes casual and hardcore. Of course males prefer the PS3, the majority of gamers before the Wii came out were male and were playing the PS2. Why would they make an exodus to another system when the PS2 and its games proved its worth ten-fold?
I think they could have made the ice patches that Mario creates a bit more non-generic because those look incredibly plain and lame. But i'm just looking for something to complain about and that's all I can shake a stick at. This game is going to be outstanding.
Which ever game the consumer prefers it is good to see Rock Band bringing group interaction to the PS3 and 360. Rock Band may turn out to be a huge selling point for non-hardcore gamers to purchase the PS3 and 360 (if they've got the cash). My tastes rest more on Guitar Hero III for the Wii as I'd just rather get my musician buddies together to play some real rock instead looking like a bunch of dorks playing Rock Band.
If this pipedream came true this would be the reality:
Microsoft's incompetence, software failures, and blue screens of death, Sony's arrogance, incredibly high pricing, and inclusion of sh*t no one needs or wants, and Nintendo's new peripherals every month and happy, "voiceless", and non-online games.
Yea, great idea. Oh, and don't forget about the lack of competition, which means Sony can charge whatever they want. So expect to pay a few grand for ext...
The majority of gamers who play this game will be minors, worldwide, not just in the UK. However, I disagree with Rooftrellen. That is not the ONLY reason why it will sell, it helps but it is not a significant factor in sales.
Finally some online play to bring me back to the good ole days of Day of Defeat style gaming... I'm looking forward to getting this.
I love these damn rabbids...
Maybe team up with Google and integrate a simple Google Earth model...
No surprise here. R* continues to show us that their company is over-run with hypocracy and adolescent intelligence toward ethics and integrity; unprofessionalism at its finest.
I'd end up only playing the games on the second page...
Agreed...utilizing un-used power generated by entertainment machines to analyze scientific data and advance groundbreaking research to better humankind as a whole is fantastic.
Folding@home, Seti@home, and Einstein@home are all great ideas to utilize the unused processing power of PC's and the PS3. Constructing a supercomputer with a set of PS3's to analyze astronomical data is a great idea. I hope they find something interesting. However, I think stating the donation of PS3's as generous on Sony's behalf is a bit of an exaggeration. A donation of 8 PS3's by a huge multi-billion dollar company is not generous in my book. That's more-or-less pocket change for Sony an...
That was totally awesome. I think more people should be like Brian Lam.
So what happens to Kaz if he's incorrect and PS3 sales top out at say 9 million, other than losing even more respect?
Unless Sony plans on giving a super-uber-price-drop on the PS3 down to like $250 over the holiday season and supplying millions of 60 gig or better consoles to retailers by then, I don't see the PS3 reaching the 11 million mark.
Another typical run and gun FPS but streamlined with horror elements from the mind of Clive Barker, highlighted with psychic abilities, branded with team control, and laced with numerous B-rated voice clips...what more could one ask for in a "made for PC" game.
I'm really skeptical about how this game will play on the PS3 and 360. So I'm glad they decided to release a demo. If this game has online multiplayer it should be very, very fun...
Normally, I would agree but I think this one might actually make it stateside, albeit, under a different title. Nintendo has been quite forthcoming and tolerant of game variety (i.e. Manhunt 2) since the beginning of the Wii's marketing stradegy. If they want to continue expanding their demographic, I see this as another opportunity to do so.
Well said. It almost seems like you copied and pasted an except from some athiest's rant on the errors of America but let me bring something to your attention.
The quote, "...stop interfering in our lives by imposing your limits on what you believe we should and should not do..." is hypocritical. You fail to see you do that yourself by continuing to support media that desensitizes the populace and blurs the lines between the current cultural concept of "right&quo...
