If someone provokes violence in another than it's the other that has a problem, not the one supposedly provoking the violence. If I get angry because someone said something that I didn't like it's not the other person's fault that I'm angry. It's my own.
About your other comment/question, of course not. Other innocent people be punished for someone elses crime is rediculous. As I said above, it's the person who reacts to a stimulus in a negative way that is at fault.

"These Fascists would ban all media they deem unacceptable if they could."
Dude, your avatar is Lord Vader. If anyone is a facist it's that character and thus yourself since you are representing him in your user account.
But you're damn right about parenting.
"I haven't played GTA IV yet, but I want to shoot these people right fking now."
marichuu, that's the type of maturity that isn't going to help your case.
It's a well developed "game" in many ways but it definitely shouldn't be played by anyone who isn't mature enough to understand it's itricacies, subtlety, and vulgar nature.
Um, what?
Gish, thank you for clarifying history for AliC.
It was actually a well thought out and logical argument from Glenn Beck. He made accurate points (however, I'm not sure there's a chainsaw in GTA IV but I wouldn't doubt it) about the current pop culture and how we are training ourselves to kill. He's spot on about that and it isn't difficult to look back and see how history supports that idea. It's also pretty damn obvious to anyone who actually pays attention to current events and genuinely thinks about the issues of violence, sex, and pop ...
I don't see a damn thing other than a false color moon.
I totally agree. I remember the transition from a standard "game" to more like an in depth novel with "game"play elements.
This game is going to be incredible. I can't wait.
There is nothing to analyze since these are two separate forms of media. One is interactive the other is not. I wish these "expert" douchebags would stop trying to compare two fundamentally different forms of entertainment.
is a huge gayass douchebag...
First of all, Rockband is a second attempt at a blockbuster rhythm game by Harmonix. Secondly, Rockband has expanded the rhythm game concept to include drums and a mic, this is not innovative or unique. Thirdly, Harmonix sold out by letting the douchebags over at MTV have a hand in their money maker.
In my opinion, Activision has every right to expand the instrument selection of Guitar Hero. However, it's not really "Guitar" Hero anymore, is it?
For all...
looks kind of f*ckin stupid to me...and i mean that in the worst possible sense.
No.
I'd say they're more like a chocolate star than a rockstar...
Who gives a rat's ass about this stupid f*cking, ongoing argument? R* you were wrong deal with it, losers. Just put out GTA 4 already and maybe you'll redeem your sorry asses.
It will be a sad day if such a system was forced on us. Without competition the gaming industry will be monotonous and repetitive. Oh wait, it seems to be that way now with every other game being an FPS.
If anyone reading this is disappointed with the current variety of games then one can imagine how agonizing it would be if one console was all we had.
Lightning, you first need to check yourself into an asylum as I remember you thought it was "ok" to sexually interact with children. You disgust me beyond belief and your ignorance and distorted perceptions of the concept of freedom, free speech, and liberty is a reflection of the reason our society is going to hell.
Indeed. Bullying, threats, and declarations of violence need to be stopped and resolved immediately.
Throw in an iMac and Leopard OS and I'll do it!
Bringing in unrelated topics to argue your point is the only fantasy on this thread. Trying to convince others to support your opinion by interweaving it with known topics which carry a negative tone is more facist then anything in Glenn Becks report.
Additionally, your bias is apparent and thus your argument is not objective and worth arguing. Yes, you have an opinion and that's fine but unfortunately for you it's just as misguided as your perception of Glenn Beck's opinion. ...
