I have this same problem with digital games as well. Digital only + corporate greed = humanity fail
Yes. Welcome to the future!
It should, it's a really good game.
So does anyone else think it's f'ed up this Superdad guy had to take his 5 year old to work with him cause he had to pull so many hours? The real story here is an industry that pushes too few to do too much in the name of even more profit.
Well now I know what the DLC will be... hopefully he'll be just like the little asian kid from Code Monkeys
Maybe more like Silent Hill meets Shenmue at a comedy club. It's crazy, quirky and very worth checking out since there is NOTHING out there quite like it.
Because when people throw their money at pointless services that can easily be free companies will make more pointless services for people to throw money at.
So if you were an early adopter of the 360 over the life of the console you spent over 300 dollars extra for a service that is free for the other consoles? Thats the price of another console or 5 more games that could have been purchased brand new or even a tablet. Sorry 360 users, but you have been ripped off.
My imagination has better graphics than most games, so just give me gameplay and I'm good to go.
They're nowhere near the only company trying to use these kinds of DLC strategics. It seems any game that asks you to subscribe to a season pass of DLC is doing the same thing Capcom is talking about doing now. Whether it's for good games or bad games from good companies or bad it's the same thing, so be upset with the industry as a whole and not just Capcom.
What an awesome article. The part where he talks about Squall and the lack of voice work makes me think of why the original Dead Space was so great. Man I wish Isaac Clark would STFU again.
Employers can afford it, they just don't want to spend the money to do it.
I have this awful feeling another Okami game is among the cancelled projects...
But as graphics improve the AAA graphics industry is facing more challenge from the indie and mobile sector of games.
No, preping for the Shtstorm after it's announced that it will be Wii U exclusive.... the internet would explode
I've literally played games since before I can remember (my grandfather would hold me up to the arcade machines so I could play) and intend to play for much longer still. My only real issue with games now are the business practices of the companies that put the games out in the first place, and although I don't want to I'll play less or find another way to play if this next gen gets too greedy (too much dlc, games released broken too soon, DRM) or gimmick crazy ( social "fea...
EARTHBOUND!
I think Nintendo HAS to get more third party support. Any is better than none and I for one will definately buy games for it instead of one of the other systems if I can. I think Ninty could really shine with lots of exclusive indie games and with a healthy dose of that japanese gaming strangeness (like NMH) which only Sony seems to offer now. The casual crowd is gone, and they're not coming back to ANY of the consoles this time around so it needs to be about games for gamers and letting ...
Umm... Bad games are against my faith. Can I get a refund on them now?
I remember Alan Wake being one of the only reasons I ever owned an Xbox. These guys deserve a chance to do something cool with Darksiders.
