Only if I can buy them all and bury them in the desert. Otherwise... no.
No, these companies. It's not just MS that tries to screw their customers and hide their intentions through pretty language or fake applause. Well, they're probably the only ones with the fake applause...
Whatever happened to just putting in a game and playing without profiles? Whatever happened to being customers instead of consumers? Whatever happened to gaming being about games? How about cheat codes and unlockables, buying full games, or not having to worry about how you will access those games in the future? Gaming is becoming a huge hassle.
I'm tired of being a consumer, I want to be a customer.
Doesn't matter, better consoles will have better games with less BS attached to them.
Just can't trust these companies anymore.
Yes, along with all the others. M$.
Well Iooks like MS is going to be seeing a whole lot of my taint if I ever buy this crap. And I won't. Now on the other hand if I have a friend that has one...
I'm not looking forward to the future of digitally distributed gaming or anything else for that matter.
Both Sony and MS are making customers (not CONSUMERS damnitt) leave behind their digital purchases if they want to upgrade to new hardware, and eventually that old hardware will fail and the PSN and XBLA services will shut down and access to those games will be gone. Or even better we will be given the option of streaming our old purchases to the new hardware later for a monthl...
This is not the kind of news I want to see from companies. So now not only are there going to be all kinds of dlc packs but the kinds of dlc you can get are going to depend on the system you own?!? This isn't the only game promising to offer up exclusive dlc to a system and is just going to fragment games even more than they are now.
I've never been a big fan of the 360 controller so I'm disappointed that the design is basically the same. The individual rumble motors seem like a cool idea and I hope they're utilized well, the examples in the article sound very promising. The rechargeable battery is a nice touch as well. Overall it's nothing that seems groundbreaking though and I REALLY hope to see some more funtionality out of it that hasn't been talked about yet.
Well thanks to an EA boycott I don't have to worry about all this :]
Although I agree completely that mobile games or even just most game companies have become far too greedy for their own good this article doesn't really represent the title point very well. I say it's just sad how much people will pay for a F2P game with the most rudimentary gameplay elements and simplified graphics.
I love the game and the presentation. Honestly wish more games would take themselves a little less seriously and be FUN like they're meant to be. Also, the patch seems to have fixed the PS3 version, I had no problems at all with the framerate.
I'm so glad someone remembers Soul Blazer but Illusion of Gaia is so much better. Playing russian roulette in IoG was one of those weird moments in gaming that just stuck with me along with so many other strange aspects of the game.
Actraiser is also a great mention that NEEDS a sequel, it's truly a game that made its own genre and is still the only game in that genre.
You don't want to play Dragon Quarter.
This is what happens when you have too much money.
I'm not worried about losing money and I will throw some money into it, my point is that their goal of 1.35 million for JUST the pilot isn't going to happen as there hasn't been enough support for it. I'm trying to keep hope alive but reality points towards an unfortunate conclusion.
So sad, I finally find something I want to support on kickstarter but it seems to have little chance of happening. Wish Nintendo had just made a deal to put this on Wii U and provided some funding instead of this massive kickstarter goal trying to be reached by Precursor.
@creatchee So under your logic I shouldn't give clothes to goodwill as that will hurt clothing manufacturing, or if I play cards then everyone has to have their own deck otherwise it takes away from the card company, or if I share a lunch with someone I'm hurting the fast food industry. Oh, and how much money has this industry lost over the last 20 years? All that sharing has really crippled the game industry.
