That does seem to be the logic in use. Too bad flawed perception doesn't change facts...
Pretty sure the Wii U Netflixs app does this as well
The last 8 years of MC have worked, just not as well as anyone hoped for. Few games on either Xbox or PS have forced MC on anyone and even many Wii games had options for regular button controls, and for MANY core games there have been the inclusion of MC for those who want to use them.
I agree the idea is cool, it seems to make alot of sense and there's some cool tech behind it but I would need some of hands on time before I could say I'm excited about it or that it's not...
Too true, I'd love to see Nintendo get some RPG love going on and this would be a great start conisdering both games appear on their platform. Regardless of system I'll get this though, Symphonia is amazing.
I could have sworn the last eight years was full of motion control hate and cries of 'foul' and 'gimmick', so where's all the hate now?
What bothers me about this news is even though Squeenix has posted terrible losses it's only because of their console games. They're mobile department is apparently making money and THAT, at least in the case of their phone games, is where some of the worst business practices have been for them.
I want to return to the womb!
And now your part of the reason this situation exists in the first place.
This is not good for the industry, it's only pushing people away and dividing the gameplay experience based on how much money you can shell out for a game.
Exactly. The dramatic shift has already happened and it's been screwing all of us for awhile now.
I don't hate AAA games but I hate all the DRM, the microtransactions, the push for DLC in everything, numerous franchises being shelved while ignoring strong fan support for said franchises, the yearly releases of what amounts to be the same game over and over and the pushing of already popular game series to be as mainstream as possible and thus abandoning what made these games great in the first place. AAA has ALOT of problems and until some industry practices get changed those problems...
I'm not really much of a PC gamer, but it looks like that's about to change.
Looking at the way EA runs their business and treats its customers I can say it's not a terrible loss to me.
To be fair in the interview the Shopto guy did say the stores profitability on the game would be small to non existent because of the short amount of costly weekend time available to process orders.
Anyone excited about Star Wars anymore?
I bet meetings are going on right now that are blaming piracy for their poor sales performance and discussing new ways of using drm and microtransactions to up profits instead fixing their business model.
I don't need prettier graphics so much as different games and better gameplay which looks so far to be the same as this gen
I see dlc lightsabers & drm death stars in the future
More like since its release
