YES, take my next couple of paychecks please.
I'm looking forward to all the Shake the Baby mini games
I've studied this closely and come to the conclusion that those aren't real.
I agree with alot with the authors explaination of what has made gaming seem less appealing, and alot of those things were created by the business and not the gamers.
Actually there were specific stores called GAME STORES that took trades, we had a couple in my town when SM3 came out, they just weren't retail chains. And there is massive revenue in used movies, clothes, electronics and TONS of other items but I don't see used movies under fire or DRM on underwear or blu ray players that catch fire when sold at garage sales.
Game companies used to make complete games and not hold back content for dlc because games were sold COMPLETE an...
I would like to say there are lots of reasons to pirate a game, just not all games and especially not brand new games.
They're not being sued for making a bad game, they're being sued for the presentation demo because they said it was actual gameplay & graphics when it wasn't. False advertising.
Look at that Zack! 'Buy DP'... in the coffee!? Ok Zack lets go, you lead the way.
Bioshock was great, just beat the AMAZING Ni No Kuni, Lego City was a pleasant surprise and that's just what I've recently played. 2013 seems to be a good enough year so far.
It's not just the development recipe, games need a new form of input. Motion controls have tried and aren't quite there yet but SOMETHING needs to change as far as game input goes to make the experience flow better between the game and thumbs (or whatever is being used for control). The patents for new stuff is out there, it just needs to come to fruition.
Politics are EXTREMELY relevant to all gaming. Politics controls the laws regarding whether you can buy and sell used goods, the type of sales tactics companies can use to push products, the way in which workers are treated, whether something needs to be regulated or not, certain aspects of the economy that directly affects business like devs and publishers, etc. The rub about discussing politics in gaming is not to get inflamed over peoples positions and to be an adult about it.
You're getting the wrong idea, I enjoyed the gameplay and the world, the first 30-40 hours were fun. But then the quests started glitching up. Shortly after that the lag started. At first it wasn't too bad but the further into the game I played the worse it got. Then the lag turned to freezing up altogether, mostly in towns with alot of activity. I wanted to play the game but the issues got so bad that playing was not just frustrating and anger inducing instead of fun but was also jus...
Sony has games that cater to all ages and game types. MS does as well. Nintendo can keep making their Marios and Zeldas, no one is trying to stop or wants to stop that, but there's nothing wrong with giving the grown ups more thought provoking games along with the classic standards. By your thinking the film industry would never make a gritty movie or explore the ideas of human development in trying situations, or do much of anything to push a boundry or introduce different concepts to an...
The VB and the Gamecube don't belong in the same sentence.
Oh I can't wait! I hope it supports the Sega channel!
I put in 120 hours before the first patch on ps3 and it was AWFUL. The last 100 hours was filled with lag and game freezing and having to turn off the console every 20-30 minutes just to continue pushing forward, there were quests that couldn't be done, items forever stuck in inventory and the list goes on and on. After that fiasco I couldn't care less about Skyrim and feel anyone who bought the ps3 version should have been given their money back for buying a BROKEN game. Sure it'...
The reasons you mention (sexuality, abuse, ethics, etc.) do not and should not stop a company from bringing games to the states. These do not make it impossible to bring over and imo actually make a stronger case for bringing games overseas. The market is there for more adult themes and comedy in games but the problem is no one is willing to try.
If you want an 'easy button' then an easy mode makes far more sense than paying for ammo or armor right? Why buy a game for the opportunity to buy stuff to get through the game because your lacking time to put into the game?
Announcement- I will not be at E3
Nintendo has already stated they make no money off of the console but from software and stated the wii u almost didn't happen because of how much it cost to make. And if their games are $30 shouldn't PS3 and Xbox games be even cheaper?
