Pachter's a fool and always will be. Microsoft and Sony are the ones that truly need to worry. With a huge install base that continues to ask if a next gen is even necessary and the price point for PS4 and Nxtbox guaranteed to be more expensive than the Wii U I see this new round of consoles struggling more than Nintendo has for sales. Of course only time will tell, but lots of Pachters predictions have been shit and I'm sure that's not something that has changed.

This IS a huge problem and damn I wish more people would do something about it. How are micro transactions and day one dlc better than an easy mode (FREE easy mode)? Crap like this just fuels the idea that companies are greedy and people are stupid money cows. Having trouble with Dead Space? Put your wallet away and try getting better, or stop playing at all.

The Bayonetta 2 outcry was like 20 people. And even if Vigil were to be bought by Nintendo that doesn't completely mean darksiders III. Could be darksiders style elements in a new Zelda game or someentirely new IP. Bayonetta 2 was one game, this is an entire talented studio thats about to go down. Big difference.

Someone needs to petition Nintendo to scoop them up. A new open world Zelda game could REALLY use the expertise that Vigil has shown with the genre.

I went to best buy to try one while waiting for my pre order and I wasn't impressed either. It's a WAY better experience at home. Not having to have the pad tethered, the miiverse and internet browsing, none of that comes through in the store setup. I'm not a fanboy, I've played games on Atari 2600 to PS3 and I'm loving the WiiU so far, barely even touch my PS3 now and seriously CANNOT WAIT for Bayonetta 2. Hopefully someone you know gets one and you can experience the sys...

1.Those games were expensive because of the cartridge format used at the time which has given way to MUCH CHEAPER ways of delivering games to people. Streaming just makes it even easier.
2. When you go to the movies your renting space to watch a movie in a format that is completely unreasonable at home, unless you have WAY too much money that is. Watching movies in theaters is a diferrent kind of entertainment and really should be used loosely when comparing to games.
