Well Squeenix did say they are focusing more on mobile, too bad it will destroy them.
So, kinect has evolved and now does what kinect has always done, which is piss me off. I'm honestly sure the E3 stuff will be more impressive but damn this is not the first thing I wanted to see.
Seriously what happened to Panzer Dragoon! The last one on the old Xbox was amazing, complete shame that series has been gone for so long.
Starcraft:Ghost needs to be made. I remember reading about it and the ideas behind the game would work great for next gen.
Their community manager truly doesn't know what he's talking about, sounds like he was making excuses and casting off legitimate questions and concerns instead of giving reasons and info.
Another House of the Dead:Overkill styled games would be great, especially on WiiU.
I competed in one of those Blockbuster tournaments when I was like 10 and didn't get very far. I remember doing pretty well on NBA Jam but not so well on Clayfighter....
This is a great article, I couldn't agree more with the numerous points that are made in it.
So this is really cool, I would like to see some of the things Molyneux had talked about being in the game actually put in for the anniversary edition to flesh the game out and give a new experience to an older classic.
It's not fair, this an industry that is trying to cannibalize itself. Publishers are trying to eat up the competition to their sales (used, lending and borrowing, rental) so that they make higher profits. These kinds of tactics show that these companies don't seem to have faith in their products to be able to pay for themselves and so the customer has to suffer instead of the companies using their money more wisely.
The industry leaders are trying to make games too profitable...
What if I buy a game and want to sell it to a friend, or on ebay, or just loan it out? How about rentals, will I have to pay extra on top of what I pay for the rental service to play? Are the games going to be cheaper or is $60 still going to be the regular price? How will this affect the price of games that have been out for years? *edit* And will any of this affect buying a used X1 SYSTEM? So many questions, no answers.
One Box to rule them all!
But seriously this is pretty cool stuff, the Kinect has been used in all sorts of interesting and technologically helpful ways, Too bad it sucks at games.
I'm American and I couldn't agree more, I don't know what happened here but people just seem to expect services and products to rape and pillage their pockets for every last cent while making those products and services harder to use and more restrictive of what customers can do with them. It's sad, 'Merica needs to read a book.
YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS SSSS!
Give all the future DLC to anyone who buys new and sales would skyrocket. Easy fix.
"And there shall be a One that strives to rule over all others, and in it's shadow a great evil will be unearthed to spread blight, disease and awful gameplay upon the land." So it is written....
The amount they are going for is insane and is probably why the kickstarter hasn't been funded in the first place. If they had gone for a smaller amount this could have succeeded.
I'm glad to see an article that talks about the downfalls of digital ownership, these are the concerns, and the almost always higher or equal price to retail, that keep me from purchasing much of anything digitally.
Oh, just sssoooooo excited!
Corridor digital is the best, someone let them make a metroid movie!
