They have to actually give us something before we can be disappointed.
Did you just pull a lollipop out of your mouth before you typed that? And what side are you on? I can't even tell...
lol. So the next gen starts in 2009? Character models look outstanding. I'm way more into this game than Resistance. Can't wait to hear what people have to say about the demo. If they can pull off those visuals without any compromises, I might kneel before my PS3.
But you're still just expressing your horribly biased opinions. There are no facts in your posts. The graphical discrepancies between both versions of GTA4 are so minor that it's not even worth arguing about. It actually all comes down to personal preference. For every advantage there is a disadvantage on the PS3 version. Loads quicker, but has to install. Less graphical hiccups, but has to run at a lower resolution. I guess you can't be a Sony fanboy unless you hate Halo 3. That game...
I played it. Hmmmm... No sense in arguing about it I guess.
I popped in the 360 version and instantly threw up all over my television. Worst graphics ever. Looked just like the PS2 version of GTA and I think it was in black and white. Load times were horrible. I was waiting and waiting and waiting. All I ever saw was the "Now Loading" screen. The game was unplayable with the 360 pad. I'd push up on the controller and my character would run backwards. Of course, my 360 blew up and burned down my house. I went back and got the PS3 ver...
You mean bought it. After stealing ALL third party developers from Sega and Nintendo, they had nowhere to go but up. Sega has all but disappeared and Nintendo has resorted to making games for 5 year olds and the elderly to stay alive. I wouldn't call that a "revolution." If it wasn't for Microsoft, you would have paid $1000 for your PS3.
Interesting...
I'd like to see some videos of 4 player mode though.
I'm sorry, but you Sony guys need to give it a rest. I'm not saying the PS3 version is inferior, but quit claiming that it's the definitive version.
If the PS3 version is so much better, why aren't you playing it?
It's actually running at an even lower resolution than Halo 3. Remember all the hell you sony fans gave the xbox guys? Well, it's about to come back on you ten fold. I on the other hand, don't care. A great looking game is a great looking game.
Which gives the PS3 version a slight performance edge. But what if it didn't have that install? Would the 360 version be better? What if the 360 version had it's own install? Would it outperform the PS3 version? If only there was an optional install on both systems...
But I guess you Sony guys don't like to talk about stuff like proof and facts.
How could someone argue with this indisputable proof?
I'll take that as confirmation that you don't own a 360.
For all the people who don't own a 360.
When a 360 game gets delayed, it just gets better, but when a PS3 game gets delayed, well, it just comes out... With framerate problems.
But this is ridiculous. I will not buy this garbage.
I'm an xbox guy too, but you have to admit, that looks incredible. It is possible that the game won't look like that when it ships, but what if it does? That possibility has me really excited right now.
