I guess that one guy is the new boss...
Let's ignore the 8 and 9 reviews and focus on these 6 and 7 reviews. Overall, the game will have an 8 average. Xbox fans will remember this when Killzone 2 gets reviewed.
According to reviews, the 360 version of DMC4 was full of screen tearing. I saw it happen twice in 15 hours of gameplay.
But screw the framerate, Darth Vadar looks boring compared to Yoda. Vadar looks like a watered down Mitsurugi with a learning disability.
All I do is play fighters and I enjoy DOA just as much as any other fighter.
You haven't even played it yet! It looks like the first game times 10! From what I've seen in the videos, I don't think I can go back and play the first one anymore. I like how reviewers use the difficulty to drag the score down. Just wait. People will be saving videos of themselves playing through the game on it's hardest difficulty without even being touched.
For every 7 review there's a 9 review and plenty of 8's. I can't say anything about the game yet because I haven't played it, but I will say that Lost Odyssey received a bunch of 7's and it's every bit as good as any rpg I've ever played. The problem is the fact that Team Ninja got Ninja Gaiden right the first time and all they could do was create new levels and weapons.
The combat system was very good. It was just easy enough for button mashers to complete. You could knock those enemies out of block with specific moves and also perform insane aerial combos. The real problem was the fact that the game relied to much on the combat. It needed a jump button and some platforming.
That's all I really needed to hear. Itagaki is kind of a perfectionist. I wouldn't be surprised if he released an online update to combat these minor quibbles the reviewers have. One more week.
The ability to side step those dash moves would be awesome.
IN MY OPINION, Ninja Gaiden would never get a 10/10 because of it's difficulty. Some people just don't have what it takes to complete it. I always click the trigger whenever I face a new direction and I don't have any problems at all. Sorry, again, my opinion. The game moves so blistering fast that I think people should take that into consideration and realize that a camera could never be absolutely perfect in a game like this. Sorry, I forgot to add, in my opinion. Also, it's my opinio...
It's just not a game for everyone. More 9's than anything else, so there's nothing to worry about. I never had a problem with the camera in Ninja Gaiden. Are people to lazy to click the trigger?
How everyone who rips on this man is a playstation fan... Bitter?
Controls look smooth. Run button FTW!
Shenmue's graphics still look awesome. Even by today's standards.
Best fighter of all time.
Mortal Kombat 2 humiliates the first one. Everything else there is just an opinion.
We appreciate the honesty. Bubbles up.
360 sells a ridiculous amount of software. Their install base is almost irrelavent.
Nobody believes a word they say. I find it impossible to believe that Team Ninja would ship a glitchy game. If there's no underwater level, then NG2 is a 10/10 for me.
