The PS3 version was not. They can't simply add an online patch for the PS3 version because they had no intentions of doing so during development. They aren't done with the game yet. I expect a VF5 evolution type release for the PS3 with new characters, online play, and further gameplay tweaks. Relax, you guys did get the game first you know.
But my only fear is the controller for this thing. I can't play shooters with the PS3 controller, I can't play fighters with the 360 controller, and I can't play anything on the Wii without looking like an idiot.
They would include both characters in the Collector's Edition.
Anyone can make a list and offer their opinion on whether or not something will get ported. Doesn't mean anything. Never thought I would see RE4 on PS2. Never thought I'd see Ninja Gaiden on PS3. And never thought I'd see VF5 and DMC4 on 360. Things change. I see all those games getting ported eventually. Haze?! Slim to none? Yeah I see Sony dishing out the millions to keep that exclusive...
The female characters have always been over-sexualized. Being a gamer, I'm sure you're used to this stuff by now.
Review scores are almost irrelavent. I can scan through the review to answer a couple of my questions, but why should I listen to someone else's opinion about graphics and gameplay when I can experience it myself with a free download. Actual review scores mean nothing to me.
If I can't put them against each other! Ah well, they'll probably make the other one downloadable for both systems, for a price. I was actually wanting actual videogame characters, but I'll get over it.
Because you want to have sex with your PS3. DMC4 looks as good as anything else.
The RE5 trailer was shown at E3 2005 and was announced for both 360 and PS3.
For confirming that you have no idea what you're talking about.
A link would be nice. Capcom had the 360 development kits first and I'm pretty sure they started work on the game before they had any PS3 development kits.
Halo 3 is absolutely a must have. One of the best gaming experiences I ever had. Going through the campaign with 3 friends is as good as it gets. At one point, we all had our own tank. How many games let you do stuff like that? Have you ever heard the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."? It is a sequel "idiot." They're not going to change the core gameplay. I've played practically every fps ever released, but for some reason, I keep going back to Halo. Halo ...
I disagree. Alma requires the most patience. If you go right after her, you'll die immediately. She dodges almost everything. It's a long fight, which leaves more time for you to make mistakes. Itagaki said himself that she the hardest boss in the game.
Most importantly, don't get under her when she's flying. That tractor beam throw does an insane amount of damage. When she's throwing pillars, block the first one and ball roll the second when you're knocked out of block. She's wide open for attack when she's walking around on the ground. I usually have a couple of talisman of rebirth at that point and plenty of magic. Casting spells make you invulnerable, so I use them to avoid her attacks sometimes. On the bright side, Alma is the har...
That's why I'm picking up the 360 version too. I can handle a 4 second load time every hour or so. If the PS3 version can pull off 0 load times, that's still pretty cool.
Anyone who can read specs will tell you that the 360 and the PS3 are on the same level. Games designed from the ground up for either system can be ported to the other without any problems. I don't expect the Alan Wake port to look any different than any other PC to 360 port. As far as the Uncharted thing goes, it doesn't look any different than anything else with amazing graphics. I can't believe these guys are bragging about water effects. Stop and really think about that for a second g...
I've been following it for a long time and it finally looks like they have everything under control. Can't wait for the demo.
The constant Halo bashing gets to me sometimes. My biggest disappointment was Phantasy Star Universe. They ruined the game and added an online fee.
Because I've spent more time playing that game than any other game this year. I have yet to find a game for my PS3 that could last more than a weekend. Seriously.
I believe it got: 9,9,9,9 36/40
