Uncharted 3 mutliplayer has interactive cinematic event right into the multiplayer. It's similar to Killzone3's Operations. Gears doesn't have that at all. But I will repeat to those bots who hear what they want, Gears of War 3 is a damn good looking game. It will be the reason I revisit xbox360. I'm not taking that away from them, but there are countless examples of ps3 game that look better with alot more going on.
The ps3 version was the lead version for Arkham Asylum it showed during gameplay. Now Epic is telling me that other studios can utilize the engine on ps3 better than they can? If that's what you're saying Epic then fine.
as if Mark Reins/Epic Games are first party developers. They're only saying that because it's an exclusive title. It that was the case why would DICE's lead console platform be the ps3? You're deluding yourself if you think simple motion blurring can't be done on ps3. After seeing Infamous/Killzone3/LBP1&2 excuse me and everyone else for thinking that's a hard pill to swallow. doubtful. Are you absolutely insane? Gears of War 3 looks gorgeous and there's no debating that. But to say that it can't be done on ps3 is beyond stupidity. People could still argue with all the improvements to Unreal Engine 3 that it still can't compete with Cryengine3. With that said you didn't hear Gametrailers say Crysis2 looked better than Killzone3 in the Crysis2 review.
Services were suppose to resume this week, not this weekend. While I do understand given the circumstances that you want to be sure before letting it back out into the wild. Still this wait is having a dramatic impact on your install base. I've run through all my single player games and with nothing left to do ,the wait becomes that much harder to endure. But whatever we are experiencing, I'm pretty sure you're experiencing it twenty-fold.

it also doesn't change the fact that ps3 still outsold it nearly 6-1. Stealth trolls will get you down to one bubble really fast, so tread with caution. 360 doesn't outsell the ps3 2-1 in the US or anywhere else for that matter. Media bias never seem to comment on the fact compared to how the 360 is performing in japan, Ps3 is quite successful in the American and UK market.

point. The only thing I, personally, wanted from the ps3 hacking community was access to the GPU. Alot of things such as flash and VLC didn't work properly because flash couldn't use hardware acceleration. Geohotz thought he was going gain more fame if he hacked the infamous ps3. He didn't even hack it, there was a ps3 masterkey leak that allowed for the following hacks to be performed on the system.

I hope they do something to bring back the 3rd party developers to help increase it's library. They have innovation down and now they need some titles to fill that gap in between exclusives. I wonder if I'm the only one extremely curious to see the next Super Smash Bros. I wonder how they're going to keep prices under control, given that was one of the Wii's major selling points.
