I'm glad someone said it. Crytek would have never went to the console if the PC market were as lucrative has they say. There are way too many configurations for PC developers to really push certain features. They are already present in cards today but we won't see for another 3-4 years. The minimum requirement are far lower than PC than what next gen is offering. Piracy doesn't help it either.

failing to understand that when this happened on PSN, Sony cut the cord, not the hackers. This dude has access to personal information of nearly 47 million people, apparently. So you want me to tie my entire XBox:One game library to this? This guy can install my account on his X1, migrate my entire library over to his account (friend borrowing method), and steal all my games from the comfort of his couch. This is why, this is a bad idea from Microsoft.
- Engadget fails to mention that to even start playing your game, you have to register it first. In order to register it, you NEED an internet connection.
-The console itself will not function without Kinect connected to it. This is somewhat like the Wii and the sensor bar, although, nowhere near as discrete. Ps4 might do the same though.
-We don't know if the money from purchasing used game through Microsoft goes to the developers or back into Microsoft...

we still have yet to see that 1080p Triple-A title on the xbox360. Wow it's getting bad guys. Xbox fans calling foul, but not so much 7 years ago.

Sony is going to give nintendo the upper hand? That just means the rise of Nintendo all over again. Nintendo's Wii U will be the only console to allow used games with no strings attached. I doubt it also because ps4 doesn't require mandatory installs. Remember Sony receiving their own version of DRM "Simcity" with OFFLINE Heavy Rain? This is why I think they chose not to follow this route. I think they filed a patent to have the option there if people supported it enough.
