can't count TitanFall either. That was probably Microsoft's best showed gamed at their press conference and it seems to be a timed exclusive. EA is still the publisher, so it will eventually make it's way to PS4 in some shape or form.
it would be ideal to go digital. But the problem is America's infrastructure just isn't there yet. There are still many rural areas that has no connectivity all together. You're technically giving anyone without an internet connection the "finger".
Always online could work but not the way Microsoft was trying to do it. Their check-in were too frequent and the consequences were too severe. All this felt like a punishment rather than an improvement.

Based on what? Leave it to you to pick a multiplatform title over, some exclusive. I mean, seriously? After hearing that million polygon count with Dark Sorcerer and Naughty Dog is planning on using similar models, can't help but be excited about games on ps4. Now if only Ted Price/Insomniac will deliver another Resistance I'd be good.
I may get some disagrees, but as far as Xbox One goes, Ryse was by far the most graphically impressive. Forza 5 in game models look b...
Then why require it when half of your launch titles don't even use it?
Sony is going with Ustream.
reason why they reversed was because they weren't even selling out of pre-orders in America. PS4 has been outpacing Xbox One 4 to 1. But the internet is still required to initially set it up. So people are going to be taking the Xbox One's to friend's houses to set up their console if they don't have internet.
Seeing as how EA is using AMD as the lead architecture for all Frostbite engine games (all their next gen offerings except sports), there is only one conclusion I can draw from this. Developers didn't have the time to optimize nvidia drivers for an AMD coded game, so the GTX780 was just there to brute force the damn thing. The GTX780 is 32% more powerful than the GTX690, but with the right overclock, slightly under Titan.
"No smoke or mirrors from Sony - everything we saw was running on PS4 hardware. But it's still early days and many of the games clearly require a lot of optimisation."
I'll take Digital Foundry's world over some random guy claiming this with no physical proof. Unlike Xbox One where the PC was revealed at Microsoft's booth. Also doesn't explain why there was a 780 inside instead of a 680. Maybe they couldn't optimize the Nvidia drivers so they...
because Xbox One didn't even have devkits at E3. They were powering their games using Nvidia 700 series cards (GTX780) and windows 7 OS. The GTX 780 has alot power than what is suppose to be in Xbox One. Not only was it false advertising at E3 and Facebook, but now you're advertising a PS4 exclusive. If you can't beat them, then join then i guess.

PS4 has 9 of the top 20 slots. Xbox One has one. This is only because the launch day model is sold out.
did this like a steambox but instead took the greedy route. Even though you're more expensive, you can undercut Sony in the pricing department for games. But nope, you still want to charge $60 for physical and digital. I remember Sony did this for Warhawk when it first launched and proved that it could work. They sold Warhawk digitally for $40 and retail $60.
this is the kind of thing people are mad about. You want to be like Steam yet you're still charging people full price for games. If you want to push people to digital, then lower the price of your games. If you're still charging the same as retail then there is literally no benefit to it. This is just Microsoft being too greedy.
agree with you. The reason is because multiplayer on Ps4 is behind a PAYWALL (LIVE/PS+). Sony has said that online passes don't make sense on ps4 because you have to charge a player twice for it. Since ps3 online will remain free, they charge for online if the game is bought 2nd hand. In other words, Sony's already getting their money from Ps+, so charging someone again would just be greedy.
between the two is that Sony's was hardware/price and Microsoft's is software/price. Microsoft's can be fixed at anytime and they just don't want to.
There was a GTX 780 inside. Killzone 2 actually came back to look better in some areas than that trailer. I'll give that about the launch titles. Battlefield 4 was even confirmed to be running on PC during Microsfot's press conference

I dont get whats going on with ms, i refuse to belive that this cascade of bad ideas are all their own thinking, surely publishers most be at the forefront of the used game policy and putting pressure on console manufacturers.... #1.4

Doesn't matter what I tell you. Microsoft aren't the ones at fault according to your comment here.
Also No, they developer says and I quote: "There are an infinite nu...
now sales don't matter? But there is still more money to be made in the console market than PCs. While software is up on a steady rise, hardware is on a steady decline. Also don't just suggest that someone might have done it first without providing evidence of it.
"Yeah, these one developers made this game a while go that Media Molecule got LBP from." lol how vague can you be?
You know there were already rumors about games being 6 months be...
I really don't see how anyone can buy Xbox One. No, games were running on your actual hardware. Horrible DRM policies. High price tag and only 1 guaranteed launch title (Forza 5). How the mighty (america only) have fallen, indeed. Glad I sold my Xbox360 since my microsoft points weren't refundable and just were going to expire.
How Xbox fans deny all this is beyond me.
that's not 4k. IT's actually more like 2k. PC hardware sales have been in the tank for quite some time. So all of this is kinda irrelevant. But not too long after ps3 and Xbox360 launched, true 1080p gaming was available on PC.
