Depends on which game you are talking about. Fortnite is a free to play game and it is all about progression and Epic wants to allow you to keep your progression to to your account, not the platform.
Snookies12, if you ever connect your Epic account with PSN it will then prevent you from ever using that account on Switch or Xbox One. Doesn't matter which you play on first.
This is more about Sony blocking you from using your Fortnite account on Switch or Xbox One even if that account wasn't created on a PSN, not about playing on your PS4 against them. Can you imagine if Sony prevented you from logging on Netflix on your Switch or Xbox One just because you watched a movie on your PS4?
That would be a great remake.
Did I say it was good? How is explaining the difference defending it. Some of you guys are sure upset about anything to do with Microsoft aren't ya.
"At this point it's good they appear to be listening but"
Always a BUT isn't there with you?
It's the same BUT you had in place about Playground Games and trying to imply they will continue to just make Forza Horizon. BUT. You were already proven wrong then that they are indeed making a new open world game with their second team. You will also proven wrong about Ninja Theory who said one of the major conditions going with Microsoft i...
gamersday08, why are you responding to me? Nothing you said has anything to do with my comment. The Xbox One X is also not $349 soon, it just dropped to $449. Check Amazon, check Windows Store, check Gamestop, check Best Buy. I don't want to see some misprint ad.
My comment was to show me how you are able to achieve 4k 60fps on a $500 pc, which you and nobody else has yet provided.
I don't think you fully understand the nature of what is going on with Fortnite. If you log in just once on PlayStation network you are now unable to use that same account on Switch or Xbox. Even if that account wasn't created on PlayStation Network. That goes well beyond them blocking crossplay. It's a totally different situation but because they are blocking console crossplay it now impacts your Fortnite account from being used on another console.
"I bet this so hot topic feature ain't even in top 10-20 on xbox most wanted features. I think it's just this little slice of uppity entitled gamers on this site lol.
Maybe if MS didnt take a massive dump on the xbox at the start of this gen they'd probably be sitting at 40-50 mil units sold, and not begging for this to boost their numbers."
You're now making this about Microsoft? Does Epic work for Microsoft? They are trying to ...
"So again if crossplay is not in the top 10-20 of gamer requested features all these bluster is just that bluster."
Number one right now is this,
Persian language for PS4. Are you really telling me that is the number one overall request? The list is a joke, that's 4 times as many people than asking for PS2 games. That list means nothing and as I said, it's moderated by those who work for Sony. I have seen topics in the past get removed t...
They will change their minds when VR makes a profit and the big studios start supporting it. Having a few titles here and there like Resident Evil 7 isn't a sign VR is profitable and has enough marketshare to bother.
Microsoft has been busy already trying to get the ship in the right direction. They took a huge gamble on Kinect and cost them dearly. They managed to get the hardware side of things back on track, their services are looking good with Game Pass and backward...
I really think this is a test pilot project, one that I don't want to be a part of. We have enough games going online, all of them don't have to be. I can respect the developers wishes to make games they want to make. Starfield should do that nicely. This game feels like it came out too fast after Fallout 4 so I can wait.
Let me know how you are able to pull off 4K and 60fps on your $500 pc. You're just a real treasure around here aren't you? You said this in a Spiderman topic which everyone already knows is an exclusive title,
"I still can't believe Xbox fans won't be able to play this game unless they buy a PS4."
What is it with some of you?You don't even mention the Switch, it's like the Xbox keeps ruining your day and you can't jus...
Many want backwards compatibility or to change your PSN ID, they too are being ignored so I would take that as meaning much. Sony is also been known to moderate forums and remove threads.

Once you get outside your bubble you will see it's starting to gain ground and now that Fortnite is so popular it's becoming a reality this...
"There's no reason to make it offline since PS4 gamers have plenty of people to play with."
That's the same tired argument they are hiding behind now. Someone needs to make a bold stance, that's what I'm saying.
"That would be a wrong move by gamers
who already own PS4s
and it would ruin the business relationship
between Sony and EA."
Sometimes you have to stand up to a b...
Ubisoft has a habit of releasing bare games then making them into games as a service and bringing new life back into it (which is another fair comparison to Sea of Thieves). They should just the time to build a full game first but obviously I don't know what I'm talking about because Ubisoft is making a lot of money.
Then make it offline only. They are basically dictating to third party publishers how they can make their games run and that to me means they have too much power.
He's bang on.
Anthem will be delayed is my best guess.
Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best games and cannot wait to play it.
Visually it sure looks a lot better and the battle scenes are way more intricate. That's there the comparisons end. Sea of Thieves is more about social play and going on quests to dig up treasure, Skull and Bones is all about sea battles. I hope you can board a ship and fight but that doesn't look like the case. Maybe I'm wrong but it would be cool if you could.
'the consensus appears to be that Xbox had a much stronger year than PlayStation. '
Where are you getting your quotes from because I don't see them in this article. I don't think anyone other than those who work for Microsoft would say such nonsense.
