Maybe they should use some of that 10 million for 720p and some type of AA for Halo 3, don't you think? This is the problem with Microsoft, they over hype a game and under deliver. Halo is a great franchise, if they invested in the development of the game, rather then the hype people wouldn't feel as ripped off, as they do now.
And people wouldn't have to worry about their HDD crashing, or their 360s getting RRODs etc.. but I guess you prefer HYPE over quality. And this is w...
Yeah, I agree it's not the same model NUMBER. But it is the 40gb, and it is rumored to be releasing in France in the next week. So, the possibility of it hitting the states soon shouldn't be too surprising.
GoldenEye, Redsteal etc.. are great shooters that did what Halo does today. The only reason Halo gained so much popularity is because it was the only game worth having for the Original Xbox. And Microsoft hyped the crap out of it.
A poster at neogaf is reporting that a 40gb SKU with Spiderman at 399 will be announced next week in France. This is going to be great for Europe they need a price cut over there.
Give me bubbles for the news, xD

It's 1280 x 720, but the point is there are over a hundred thousand pixels missing per frame. And if they aren't going to do standard high def, why not at least take the effort to do 4xMSAA?
It's 80 pixels multiplied by 1152, Halo 3 has 92,160 pixels per frame less then a typical 720p game. But the reason given is legit, and as I had explained in my previous posts. The 360s bandwidth limits it's capacity to do 720p with HDR lighting effects etc.. This is also why Halo has 2xMSAA sample rather then the standard 4xMSAA that the "eDRAM" should have provided for "free".
The 360 limit has been reached, and now developers are trying to work around...
Great, they are using a Linux client now, things should get done faster.
Microsoft should make a new "User Care Guide" for the 360.
1. Don't play your 360 for more then 2 hours or it will get the RROD.
2. Don't put your 360 vertically, while playing a game or it will get RROD.
3. Don't play your 360 when the room temperature is above 65 degrees or your system well get the RROD.
4. Don't put disks in your 360, or it might get the RROD.
5. Don't play 360 games on the 360, or it might get the RROD.
etc....
You can't sue a company if it says it's going to fix the problem. They didn't pay a billion dollars, because they love the consumer. They paid that money so they wouldn't be taken to court by the consumers. But then again, knowing the 360 consumer I wouldn't be surprised if they gave the 360 the "hardware of the year", award rather then sue.
I will take your words as truth, I suggest you log out now and never come back on N4G. Look at the reports made on this article, and leave the website, remember you promised.
Umm, your confusing rendering with upscaling.
You mean the 10mb eDRAM that wouldn't even be enough to do a complete 4xMSAA sample? The one that most "hardware" geniuses would use as an example of a superior 360 GPU? If they did the math, they would have realized how limited that eDRAM is, and why it becomes useless at anything above 720p, or anything that uses HDR etc...
I am assuming he had a "moral" obligations to let gamers know that the reviews of this game might be hindered by a $800 gift. And that reviwers are not as anal as some of the 10/10 reviews make them out to be. Who here is honestly going to argue, that Halo 3 is a better game then Bioshock?
That game had new innovations, better graphics and a longer story. The only draw back was the lack of multi-player. But we can all agree pound for pound, whit the exclusion of t...
You don't seem to understand how a bribe works ha?
Judging from this guys reaction, I DOUBT this is a common practice in the game industry.
Part of the industry? What other game got a 800 duffel bag filled with goodies for reviewers? I have to know, I might become a reviewer myself if the perks are as good as you say they are.
The "reviewers guide" you are referring to is nothing more then instructions on using the SixAxis controller. As for Microsoft, I didn't realize you needed a spartan helmet, a limited edition Xbox 360 and an extra controller just to play Halo 3. It seems Halo fans are being jipped from experiencing the real game.
E3 06 trailer was almost all in real time, and that was only a pre-alpha build. xD
Learn to read, I said there is system bandwidth problems that hindered Bioshock. Why are you relating it to co-op problems with Halo? The same problem is probably occurring when it comes to Halo 3.
People know about R&C etc.. and they know about the Playstation brand. Over a 100 million people are waiting for a significant price cut so they can afford the system. As for Halo, that is hardcore of hardcore games.. not for casual gamers.
