The only additions to the newer manufactured Xboxs is the added heatsink, they didn't make any drastic changes to the system. So the probability of something like that happening shouldn't be a surprise.
It's edited by 1up, aka the same crew that is behind EGM. So the ratings aren't that surprising. Frankly I expected better scores.
Sony also sales Computers / Laptops and they are going to start including the Blu-Ray drive on their higher end models and trickle down.
They obviously didn't try to get used to the controllers, so they didn't know what was going on. And their other pressing issue? They want the dragon to be colored green so it would stand out from the background. And they can't fallow simple instructions.
And the this is linked to a forum, where there is no other source. And how do you rate a PREVIEW? This isn't even a review of the game, I am assuming they didn't get their hands on the actual game as of yet.
So, what is more important the price point or the futures provided? You would rather support a limited media disk, then a more future friendly one? Please take off the fanboy glasses and try to reason for ones.

Vivindi is the owner of Studio Canal, they also own 20% of Universal Studios. Studio Canal is now format nutral, I guess they didn't get "bought" out by HD-DVD, ha? And soon, Universal well go neutral and it will be all over.

No disrespect, but I won't worry about Walmart shoppers picking up a ton of HD-DVDs. They are simply not the target consumer for this technology as of now.
It doesn't matter how much they reduce the price of the device, if it doesn't have good software it won't do well. It's not ALWAYs about the price point. The iPhone is expensive, the iPod is expensive compared to other phones and MP3 players respectivly. But they are bought because of the quality of the product.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Basic Instinct etc.. these are movies I would love to see in Blu-Ray. Hot Fuzz and Shooting Aces are the other two recent movies they have released.
But what is important is that it has the 3rd largest movie library in the world. And it is owned by Vivindi a company that owns 20% of Universal. Now we wait and see, if Universal well become neutral. If this happens it would be a HUGE boost for Blu-Ray.

One of the big "advantages" of the Xenos GPU is that it can do better shader specs then the RSX, or so was stated by Microsoft. But this turns out to be false, as the 22gb bandwidth is not enough to do complex shader ops.
Take a moment to do the math. The guy obviously didn't factor in the pay as a negative towards HD-DVD, but rather towards the Blu-Ray brand. I think it's a HUGE negative that HD-DVD is so desperate that it needs to buy of exclusivity.

That HD-DVD paid 150 million dollar for a 18 month contract with Paramount/Dreamworks (since they are essentially the same company, only different branches)? Where is the logic in his argument? He states the company that bribes another is better off? Paying a company for exclusivity seems like desperation to me.
And last I checked, Fox / Disney are still exclusive to Blu-Ray. I still don't understand how anyone can argue against PROGRESS. Blu-Ray is a larger media format, ...
Because of the sheer quantity of things on screen at any given time on Killzon, the developer stated that the game will run at 30fps. The game has MOTION BLUR, so don't worry folks it will look as smooth as butter to you and me.
What are they going to do about the time you didn't have your 360? The time you could have been playing the system. One major problem I have with the 360 is if I am in a Clan that scrimmages every weekend, what happens when my Clan needs me, and my 360 dies on me?
