These numbers are from January to September 30th 2007, the Ps3 has sold roughly 1 million more units in the same time frame as the Xbox 360. Keep in mind, Microsoft considers units shipped as units sold, so Xbox 360s numbers could be exaggerated.
Sony is making games, while Microsoft is selling off game developers.
Unlike the Ps3, the 360s architecture is setup to incorporate both the CPU / GPU. For example, it has unified memory. That is a terrible choice by Microsoft as there is "load balance" issue. User created mods, might temper with the load balance of the game, causing strain on the CPU / GPU.

The PS3 doesn't have a magical chip inside it's system that upscales the resolution. It's either 1080p or it isn't, there is no if and or "buts" about it. More likely then not, this was a bad capture "evident" by the fact that some of the forum posts are contradicting the resolution stats.

Sony is still co-owner of Cell technology, and will make royalties on every Cell chip sold. Sony wasn't the ONLY producer of Cell chips. There is another pretty famous company, you might know them. They go by the name of "IBM" they are also producing the cell chip. The base console for Xbox 360 has a 20gb HDD, I am assuming at least 2-4gbs of data is going to be needed to be saved to the HDD so it can stream / pre-load the game.
Oblivion for the Ps3 required 1.7gbs of pre-installed data.
Do the math, after 360 HDD is formated it has 14gb of space, you expect M$ to allow games to have an "unlimited" amount of data storage? Please consider facts before going on a rant next time.

Do you have any dam clue as to how many times the 360 dropped its price? Yeah, I didn't think so. The gaming department made a profit of after after the looses. They are still selling Ps3s at a loss, unlike Xbox360 / Wiis. Oh, and remember M$ put the 1.3 billion dollar repair / recall for RROD in their last physical years estimates.
