There are hardware limitations that limit some games from archiving 1080p. Halo 3 for example has HDR lighing and 2xMSAA, it can't run at 1080p, because of the bandwidth limitations.
Wrong, audio receivers can be designed to incorporate certain codecs or optimization to make them work better with a particular system. Take a HDTV for example, it has HDMI input because it is required by High Def media players to play contents at 1080p.
Or take Dolby as an example.
BIZ: Is it possible that the Halo universe or Bungie's future games could appear on other consoles now? FO: Right now we're concentrating on the Xbox 360. Which we adore.
The keyword here is RIGHT NOW, reading comprehension people. Bungie is no longer an EXCLUSIVE 1st party developer. And seeing future games on the Wii, or Ps3 shouldn't be surprising. After all Rare a 1st party (MGS) developer is making games for Nintendo. And Bungie isn't even 1st party anymore.
READ: Rockstar wants to make a game to harness the power of the Ps3, and Sony is providing them the money to do that. They are referring to the 7th installment of the game, as there are 6 games including GTA 4.
I doubt the people that bought a Ps3 or Wii would care much about a Halo on their system. If Halo released on the Wii or the Ps3, it wouldn't have generated nearly as much hype or sales as it did with the 360.
Agreed, that price difference is way to small for people not buy the 60gb model. A great move by Sony, this should get rid of the 60gb model in time for the 80gb to hit the same price by Christmas. This in turn would create another influx of sales as a 80gb drop in price seems like a "bargin", to the "average" consumer.
Sure some might say this is a "sly" tactic.. but it's a smart one too.
If I remember correctly other then the HDD everything else is READ ONLY on the 360. It's one of those M$ doesn't trust your ass enough to let you get proper access to your own system deal.
Dude, Resistance game was awesome.
You would have realized Bungir has a publishing agreement with MGS. That doesn't mean they can't publish for another company, it simply means they already have an agreement in place with MGS. If Ubisoft makes an agreement with Bungie I am pretty sure they would / could develop for them too.
"Microsoft Corp. today announced a plan for Bungie Studios, the developers of the “Halo®” franchise, to embark on a path to become an independent company. Microsoft will retain an equity interest in Bungie, at the same time continuing its long-standing publishing agreement between Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie for the Microsoft-owned “Halo” intellectual property as well as other future properties developed by Bungie."
Bungie will develop Halo and other future...
For games released on the Microsoft platform, they would have to get it published by Microsoft. I am assuming if they wanted to develop for another platform they can, all they would need is another publisher, such as Ubisoft or EA etc..
Wiifitness has some competition, that guy was flapping his hands like crazy.
The booster packs will be 3.95 I think, and starter decks will be 19.99.
Games like this are great, I love the diversity of the Playstation 3 game library. Rather then 1 AA shooter after another, the Playstation 3 library has a good mix of RPGs, Shooters, Action Adventure etc.. which is awesome, and the reason why I opted for this system.
The faster the disk rotates, the more heat it creates. If you want your system to live longer I suggest you go with the 5400, as a few seconds off loading time simply isn't worth overheating the system.
7200 RPM is going to create significantly more heat for the system.. I doubt Sony is going to take the risk for only a few seconds of loading time. So, we can debunk this rumor right now.
The pictures you are comparing it to are screen caps that are clearly polished and modified. And it's pretty obvious the game is going to look different as the previous videos are from an older build.
For you and anyone else, who is going to post that they "didn't meet the target render". This isn't a target render, there is NO TARGET RENDER the whole game is in-engine. But you cant really be blamed, this game does look that good to fool anyone into thinking it's a target render and not in-game.
The developer had stated those are all in game, in "engine" graphics.
This is a BLOG, it's an opinion piece and isn't a great one either. But hey you got the hits you wanted. I suggest people just ignore the post if they aren't interested in it.
