Yep, thank you for confirming my doubts. Metacritic will always use phrases "Highest rated PC/PS4/XboxOne/Switch games" but it never uses phrases such as "Highest rated PC/PS4/XboxOne/Switch *exclusives*", so the author itself is taking things out of context, which directly leads to click-bait tittle.

Heck if you mouse over the game tittle on metacritic it even states, "also available on platforms X and Y".

No mans sky is also on PC as far as i remember.

As for what i mean for quality: Persona 5, Uncharted 4: Thief's End, Bloodborne, Horizon:Zero Dawn etc etc for this gen alone.

Yes, from my own *personal experience* newer games post 2013 that are ranked below 80 are mediocre garbage.But ofc people have different standards, and i have mine. So to you New Order might be an masterpiece, to me it was just mediocre but not mediocre-garbage.

If you can consider 75+ on metacritic "good".
From my own personal experience anything below 80 on metacritic is in most cases mediocre garbage, 80-90 (good/very good) 90+ masterpieces/GOTY contenders.

At the end of the day, quality beats quantity.

You do realize dynamic weather and weather hazards is not something new? It was already done by many games before it, ESPECIALLY object manipulation.

Definitely, the game itself is no masterpiece but it is seriously downplayed on what it brings new to the table(it being a refreshing NEW IP). To me personally the only true masterpieces this year are Nioh and Persona 5, but i would still give GOTY award to Horizon:Zero Dawn for actually trying to do something new unlike the competition.
