That 10$ ME: Andromeda is so damn tempting, tho i still question will i like it. I tried out the demo, the controls felt bit clunky at some points, character creation was meh and story intro was nothing to write home about tho i did enjoy the gunplay.
But then i recall how i enjoyed Dragon age Inquisition, the game that was made by the same Bioware B team (give or take some crucial developers in the team) even tho the game had some serious fetch quest(MMO type side-quests) ...
The difference is there (visually), but i would not call it a "huge" difference. However, the performance can be a big game-changer for some people.
Look at it this way, by the time the game gets a full release, those "crazy expensive graphics cards" will be "dirt cheap graphics cards". ;)
Cant wait to play the game, when (and if) it ever gets a full release.

"Every time you call it a portable. I am gonna report your comment. This is nothing but trolling."
"YOU DO NOT GET TO MAKE UP YOUR OWN DEFINITIONS. Get over it, you WERE WRONG."
I'm a neutral party in this discussion, but i think you are bit overreacting with that kind of commenting, especially reporting someone's comment that clearly has nothing reportable.
Constant internet-connection is still a type of DRM, one that can't be stopped if the console turn into cloud-gaming machines.
I don't disagree with the sentiment of "cloud gaming" being the future for consoles, but it's still a 50/50 chance for it to be mainstream next gen and has a very slim chance of replacing physical media.
This is a "bit" old news.
I can see them remaking MGS1-MGS2-MGS3 with FOX engine, while MGS4 would be remastered with slightly better textures and framerate (cuz that game still looks gorgeous by today's standards)
console exclusive =/= exclusive.
I thought those terms definitions were supposed to be clear by now.
And we have ourselves to blame for this Activision-Blizzard "success".
This is not surprising considering the quantity of media outlets that review games has doubled in number since the releases of the PS2 and PS3 versions of the game.
Behold the power of the smear-campaign media.
Diablo 3 for me.
No, Gamecube is still the king, baby! /s
"generation ahead of the console version that was released in 2016"
I must have been playing completely wrong game then, cuz from what i have seen in direct feed comparisons, that is some very questionable statement.
There will come a time when the cloud will actually do this (as in replace a high-end PC/ console) but this is hardly what i would call proof.
I have 25 Mbps internet speed, and i still had latency issues with cloud-based services ( tho in cloud-s defense, the issues only happened in 15%-20% total play time, give or take).
They are equal in quality, since both excel in their specific genre masterfully. Hopefully The Last Of Us Part II will continue that...
I can see them buying off PUBG Corp, but EA and Valve are bit different kind companies (and much larger).
Also the notion of Microsoft buying of EA would definitely worsen their reputation right now.
-There should be no microtransactions in full-priced-games, but we have our selves to thank for making that happen.
-Cosmetic-only-type-microtran sactions in Free-to-Play games are justifiable.
-P2W-type-microtransactions in both full-priced and free-to-play games are absolutely not justifiable.
