Even tho streaming(via cloud) is the inevitable future for gaming, it is still too early for it to become mainstream.
Damn this reminds me of the time when Kojima predicted in MGS2 the whole social media mambo-jumbo IRL.
Who knows what we will see from social-media elements in Death Stranding.
If they think they can create Persona 6 as a multiplat game without compromising the game quality i see no reason why it should't release on other platforms.
There are always benefits from making the game exclusive or multiplat.
No mention of Velvet Crowe or Chloe Frazer...
@starchild
"You can't just hate on multiplats for artistic changes and then turn around and act like exclusives are exempt from such criticism."
Just because fanboys act like that, that doesn't mean all others in the communities need to act like that.
Best to ignore those types of people, and focus on having the best time with upcoming games.
Tho besides Ubisoft downgrades, i can't recall any major "downgrade&q...
I think you don't know what "downgrade" really means.Changing how some areas look does not equal = lowering texture quality/assets.
You may not like the change, but it's an artistic one they thought it was necessary and not because the console could not run it,as it was demonstrated in demo's on PS4.
"It used to look better than uc4, it doesn't now."
So you played it?
Case closed. Now we "only" need to wait for the bloody game.
Now this is what i would call a "huge" difference.
I wouldn't take any criticism about God of War graphics ( or any other AAA exclusive for that matter ) from most of people online seriously, When the game is either in alpha, beta or a damn trailer. Chances are the majority of the complaints would be from PC elitists and Xbox/Nintendo fanboys ( and generally fanboys of any platform that the game is not on ). Then yes you are just left with the remaining ignorant people and people who just like to make controversy to their own benefit. ...
If anything Lost Legacy showed that future Uncharted games have a big potential with Chloe as a main character.
But i think Uncharted IP deserves a well earned rest, and Naughty Dog should focus on making a brand new IP after The Last Of Us II (preferably a Sci-Fi/action-adventure game).
And maybe later next gen, we might get a new Uncharted game with Chloe again.
Bit surprising that people still think checkerboard-rendering is the same as regular-upscaling.
Fanboys* not fans.
Each platform has those, and almost none mature accordingly.
5th time's a charm, i guess.
Miss the good ol days when Blizzard made quality RTS games like Warcraft trilogy or Starcraft I & II. WoW lost its gameplay identity post WOTLK and Diablo 3 simply ain't Diablo for me.
If anything games like Path Of Exile shows that there is still a huge interest in those sort of games with more hardcore gameplay elements.
Badly optimized ports aside, my real issue is that the overall quality of Ubisoft games has dropped into gutter after AC:Brotherhood. Black Flag gave me some hope with its gameplay, but i simply can't compare it to the story of Ezio trilogy. That ofc includes other IP-s published/made by Ubisoft.
Actions speak louder than words Ubisoft.
My only problem with BOW reviews, is that the issues it has were overlooked (cuz it's Zelda) while the competition were getting a score lower because of the very same issues.
Double standards like that, does make people question reviewer's integrity and makes the general public think that those games are getting 10/10 because of nostalgia.
To me personally it is a good game with 8/10 score.
Gimli would be proud.
I quite enjoyed the game and i think it is underrated to a degree, considering the gameplay was mediocre. If they could make the game bit longer(and/or with multiplayer) and gameplay more fluid and fun it would definitely be a GOTY contender.
The story, the graphics, cinematography and lore are still one of the best this generation.
