That reminds me...
Time to turn up my good ol PS3 again, i need my yearly Demon's Souls fix.
"PC gaming hardware proved this generation that it was 5 years ahead of consoles. Games like Rust and The Forest will show everyone the real next-gen gaming. PC gaming is pretty much plug and play especially if people use Windows 10 (does everything automatically) or Mac ( holds your hand)."
/s ?
Sad but true... I really wish Sony had more competition this gen, it could have only brought more good things.
"Rest forever here in our hearts..."
Having a bit of deja vu right now.
Yes.
Either let it die in peace or sell it to Sony.
Kratos making bald men proud since 2005! (now with extra thick beard)
Can't wait for the game release!
Bought it for 6 bucks on ps4, aside from obvious issues the game did get more hate than it deserved.
It has potential for great trilogy, since ME 1 was also not such a good game in comparison to ME 2 n 3,but just like Andromeda it showed potential.
If they (Bioware) learn from their mistakes and if EA actually starts caring about game quality again, everything is possible.
So I wouldn't write off Andromeda series just yet.
And its a "comparison video" from cycu1 .... nothing to see here folks.
"No game consoles never gone be like PC"
"60hz, 120hz never gone be locked or must for game consoles. 30hz standard, 60hz luxury, 120hz impossible."
And if i learned anything from human-history, uttering words like "impossible" and "never" only made certain people look silly in the end. And while i agree with the sentiment, that 4k 60 Fps or 1080p 120fps is highly unlikely(next gen) , i would never be so bold as to say "...
What next game?
Yes, I think it's impressive, but that wasn't the point OP is trying to make.
"Will they take away more ownership of games than they already have?"
Care to elaborate? And i would not concern myself about digital only console possibility if i were you, and especially it being cloud-gaming-machine.
Digital-only-gaming/cloud gaming is certainly the inevitable future for gaming along with other things, but chances of that happening next gen are really slim.
To think it's been 5 years already...
Time certainly flies with such a quality console and games.
It has already surprised us by existing...
MAG was an excellent game for its time.
I regret giving the article a click...
I don't have a crystal ball like some folk here, but I've been surprised before by game releases, so everything is possible.
Let them take their time, the first game was a masterpiece but it did have performance issues. Now they are trying to pull off much greater visuals and gameplay elements within same system requirements as the first game had...which is no simple task.
