I already have the PS4 version of the 2018 game, but got it for something like £24.99 later that year, also didn't buy the DLC, so I'll be getting the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales for my PS5, Spiderman Remastered only adds £18 to the standalone Miles Morales game.

Me too, I got a pre-order through Very in the UK, which is still saying to expect mine on the 19th of November.

Both Bluepoint and Housemarque are technically already AAA studios, Bluepoint became AAA when they put out their last Remake, which was Shadow of The Colossus.
Returnal is Housemarque's first major AAA game.

It would be great to see Bluepoint make their own new project, whether it's a new IP or a unique game from a Sony owned franchise that has laid dormant for a time.
Capcom or Square could be within Sony's reach and they wouldn't have the...

Exactly, Santa Monica started to work on it straight after the last one release, they also have the foundations of that shift to Norse Mythology worked out, plus Cory's team are much more stable now after the studio moved to their new location during the 2018 game's development.

Assuming this comes out in April time it would have been in development for about 3 years, if Cory and co are ready to announce 2021 as a launch year, then that's their current target.

If it's ready then there's no reason why it shouldn't come out.
Santa Monica are a very efficient studio and given they were moving locations, essential rebuilding the studio as the last God of War was put into development now they're more stable and have the foundation of the last excellent game in the franchise under their belt.
Most likely under Cory's leadership the God of War team could easily be in a far better place to make more frequent releases, ...

It is nothing but naive to think they won't come to PlayStation, Stadia or future Nintendo platforms (assuming Nintendo makes a Switch Pro or something that can run them).
Given how little Game Pass Ultimate brings in relative to the various things it's going to offer MS can only be aiming to use this move to basically swallow up as much money from this move as possible.
Just keeping ZeniMax's future games on XBox wouldn't make them any money, MS needs XBox t...

In order to answer this question without official details from Microsoft we need to do some math.
Currently if you pay each month for Game Pass Ultimate it costs $14.99, which means for 12 months XBox would earn $179.88 per user.
I think back in April Microsoft said they had 10 million Game Pass Ultimate subs, so that means per year they would make $1.7988 Billion, this is revenue, assuming everyone pays, which personally I don't, I do the Game Pass Quest, which means I ...

Maybe a remake of the original, with more content could come to PS5.
PS5's CPU and other hardware is fast enough to make a great PS3 emulator run well, especially with Sony knowing their source code and the modern features of the RDNA Architecture, Machine Learning goes back to the first version, should be even better on RDNA2.

Yeah that game looks awesome and freaky too.
I love Housemarque's games, Resogun was fantastic, hopefully next gen will get a 4K 120Hz update.
Hopefully Returnal is a launch window game.

As things should be!
Sony's owns the rights and a Sony owned developer makes the best Spider-Man video game(s) ever made.

This makes perfect sense.

That's what I thought, it works really well in Ghost.

Agreed, Sucker Punch teased about taking the setting to an Asian location, like Japan, with Ninjas, Infamous with Ninjas would be awesome on PS5.
Hopefully SP won't take quite so long to put out their next game as they did with Ghost of Tsushima.
It only took them a couple of years to make Second Son, perhaps as a studio they'll be able to work on multiple projects going forward.

It's been over 6 years since the last Infamous and the IP can be ...

This looked pretty good, I can see where they took elements of Prophecy and used them in Ghost of Tsushima.
Sure it looked like it needed a fair bit of polish, but I'm intrigued about what they were doing with the lead character's powers and what sets it apart from Infamous.
I get Assassin's Creed vibes from it too.

I think it would be cool if this ended up being reworked as a PS5 game, though I would love to see Sucker Punch make a new Infamou...

@3-4-5: According to "howlongtobeat" Farcry 3 takes 15 & 1/2 hours to complete the story campaign.
FC4 17 hours, 5 takes 17 & 1/2 Hours and New Dawn 11 Hours.

I have a bunch of the games in my collection, but haven't played one through from start to finish.

PS5's hardware has PS4 support baked in, most games have also been confirmed to run better on PS5 too, as far as the games Sony have tested so far.
Anything with dynamic resolution and performance settings should easily get maxed out by default on PS5.
Personally I have my Pro and base PS4, one will go to a relatives for when I come over and we want to game, the Pro will go to my bedroom and the PS5 will go in the living room.

I finally had the time to sit down and play some of this today, I started the game and didn't realise that just over 7 hours had passed by the time I had to make myself some dinner.
I've still got a fair bit too play, but so far it's awesome.

The supposedly controversial story elements make perfect sense given the events of the first game.
The gameplay, tension, AI and overall presentation are very well crafted.
I would say if you like...

It wasn't heavy pop-in, it was some shadows off in the distance and lights in the tunnel drawing off in the distance too.
Heavy pop-in is whole tracks, cars or other objects appearing right in front of your car or next to it, that wasn't happening here, they weren't event reducing the frame rate in anything far off to maintain the frame rate.

Ratchet & Clank was instantly drawing entirely new worlds, with no pop-in and tonnes of ray traced environme...

It's got a lot of ventilation so it's very likely a very cool and quiet machine.
The dev kit cooler patent leaked pretty recently, it's a clever design and this final console design likely shares some of the elements of that one.

Tbh I own a PS4 Pro I bought new last November and it hardly makes any noise, this is a very different design, because Sony focused on the cooling tech, so it's probably going to be event better than the recent batches of P...

The console looks awesome, very interest, sleek and futuristic design, which will standout compared to all of the other samey boxes underneath most people's TVs.

The most important thing is the games and this thing produces a bunch of awesome looking games.
That was a great reveal event!!!

This looks better than Avatar in 4K visually and the gameplay was ridiculous!!
Looks so polished, no doubt a 2021 game given how good and smoothly it's running.
