It's been updated. They weren't sold out at the time it was submitted but now it is.
They have a link in that sentence to a famousmortimer post about how Respawn thought the 720 was going to be the FPS king like the 360 was. Its just going off that. Famousmortimer could be wrong of course but he/she has been right on with so many leaks in the past.
I don't think a $60 multiplayer only game will sell that well even on 360. We saw several $40 multiplayer only titles struggle last gen too.
That is the real test for Sony.

I don't think any footage of RE PSP ever surfaced. Also, no one has really said anything to indicate that RE PSP morphed into Revelations on 3DS. The popular belief is that RE PSP probably never went into actual production or got out of conceptual stages. I'd assume that yes, the 3DS killed off RE PSP because Capcom likely saw the 3DS coming in 2011 and decided to axe RE PSP in late 2009 or 2010 whenever Nintendo gave them a devkit. I doubt its the same g...
I didn't know it had split screen in any form, good to hear. I don't have an Xbox One and I'm waiting for this to be announced, if it ever is, for PS4. But its good to see one more title on next-gen with split screen. So disappointed in the lack of split screen lately, especially in Evolve.
Its funny that this is the one big Xbox One game I wish was heading to PS4. Well, I guess DR3 too. I'm sure I could play it on 360 or wait til I buy an XB1 but by then i'd fear the online community would have died out
Honestly if Sony can keep up the good marketing I totally think it can hit 15 million. I know that sounds low now seeing as its nearing 6-7 million already in friggin' February but you never know. Aim low and be surprised when you outperform your expectations.
Now the craziness if Sony could hit 20 million in one year? Not necessarily this year but if they can hit 20 million any single year during the PS4's life that would help to quell all the people who say console ...
Sony made a decision to put Capcom and 2K people on their E3 stage show, talking about Resident Evil PSP in 09 and Bioshock Vita in 2011. They likely reached out to each publisher and showed support for those games. Sony did not need to put the entire world's attention on a game that hadn't even gone through conceptual phases yet. They could have let 2K/Capcom handle those announcements on their own and not ended up looking bad, but make no mistake, Sony went out of their way to put a...
Bioshock Vita fits the term Vaporware. It was announced in June 2011 and last year Levine said work hadn't even started. Irrational Games closing has little to do with it being vaporware, it was long before that happened.
I don't understand, you're saying Nintendo would throw tens of millions of dollars at this game's development and be fine with it not moving any systems? Especially with DK Country's pedigree? I mean, what first party game do Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo make out of charity and don't want, even a little bit, to move consoles?
Lol, disagrees on simply summarizing the post?
While its a bit heavy handed as a campaign, the backlash from insecure male gamers across the web (not just N4G) for this shows just how much progress the industry has to make. Could Nintendo not make this series so "pink! girls like games too!", yes. But still its nice to have SOME catering towards women. But someone the millions of trolls on the web will turn this into some sort of bad thing that any company caters a bit towards people who aren't them.
As Sony...
Its very clear that this is probably a scam and the story isn't even about it. Its clearly meant to be more comical about this silly, outlandish auction. Hence the word "suspicious" in the title.
To be fair, its only $22 and PayPal will refund your money once it ends up being not legit. Might be worth it for the lulz
$50 gift card promos are nothing new. retailers gave them out at the height of Wii, 360, and PS3 sales. The only reason you don't see it for PS4 is coz they just now have been able to keep them in stock. This doesn't really indicate anything in terms of retailers wanting to get rid of non-selling stock or else there would be free $100 gift cards for Vita, Wii U and others every day.
Lol, VGChartz. I'd take NPD leaks over VG any day of the week. They typically aim too high anyway, always off by a few hundred thousand units and always hiding behind the term "shipped" to make their numbers look less bad.
Correction: There was a 30 day free trial for download that expired Jan 31st and only needed a $20 fit meter purchase to keep forever.
You must be new around NPD stuff, CreamSugar for the past few years has a near spotless track record of being right and pretty much every media outlet accepts the numbers he says because of that track record. He isn't some new guy, he's consistently right.
Also, he can't come right out and say it of course he'd lose his access to the NPD data as you're not suppose to leak it and share it with the public unless specifically condoned by the product makers. I...
Because Microsoft would let the news that Halo 5 is coming out this year play second fiddle in their own magazine to Titanfall as the issue's main focus? OXM is just assuming its coming this year.
