Seems fitting since it was always a budget title launching at $20 anyway. I don't know why Nintendo thought the third one would be a success on 3DS at $35 at release. Should've been $20 max, if not a $8-$12 eShop download or included with system.
Its really useful on some courses but others with very tight turns pretty much nullfy this trick
Doesn't seem like a huge exploit but yes hopefully they patch it out soon.
And it released 3 days later.
I always hate it when people say they're "speechless" or "have no words" but then go onto to talk about something at excess.
Thought about ditching my pre-order and going to Wal-Mart to buy it right now (2am) but I'll just wait for GameStop to open in the morning. Free pre-order poster and trade ins are worth it I suppose, worth the wait that is.
They've been teasing this for months now. I really wanted to play it and will gladly pick it up when it releases on PS4. Hopefully soon.
Sweet deal if you're fine with a used one.
Man, 98% of the people who commented on this didn't even read the article. There is no proof that Ubisoft said anything at all, this is so very fake.
@wonderfulmonkeymon
1. Is your user name a reference to the song "Monkey Man" by The Specials?
2. Wonderful 101 is not a third party game and it by no means (as much as I loved it) as a good attach rate. Its sold like 70k globally. There's no way Nintendo, Platinum or anyone made any money off it, just to be accurate.
Imagine one day, 10 years from now we'll all be complaining that Nintendo/Sony/MS should have shipped their consoles with more than 16TB HDDs because 8K resolution games are so huge lol.
Oh really? Chapter 11 you say?
Also, I imagine Ubisoft isn't referring to unannounced games like Just Dance 2015 which I imagine will come to Wii U. If any new Rayman is in the works Wii U would be the number one platform since Legends sold best on it too and they wouldn't talk about it before E3 if so.
I don't know why you're coming at me like this. Whether this rumor is true, false, or whatever you're being very aggressive. I've already asked a mod to just delete this submission because I don't need this. You blocked me too and I don't know why. We could discuss this via PM. The article links to developers giving some legitimacy to the rumored SDK leak then links to another site (that you then say should be the main URL which I can't change since it got approve...
I don't think you understand, it can be based off existing tech and still be proprietary since Nintendo paid for development of a specific version of that existing technology.
The Mini-DVD had 1.4GB storage on a single layer, 2.66GB on dual layer. Nintendo took this and changed it while still using similar tech making the "Nintendo Optical Disc" which held 1.5GB single layer, 3.0GB dual layer.
So yes, something that be proprietary and based off ...
What? Why is the first Wii U title being dumped by hackers news? Are you seriously asking why that's news? Also, Nintendo has used their own proprietary discs in the past like with the Cube which was based off mini-DVD so its news that we finally know the origins of the Wii U disc drive.
I want to see PSN name changes the most but MP3 playback is near the top for me too.
I desperately want to know what retailer is selling this early
I hope they don't accept. They're supposed to be against companies paying outlets off.
At the very least I hope for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Collection. Even if its like the 2012 one, with all 4 titles and all the tracks/courses and online play. Though an original, giant open world Tony Hawk using the PS4/XB1's horsepower would be great
I know it may not be likely but with the mobile gaming bubble seemingly about to pop in the US I'm hoping Japan loses their love for mobile gaming by the time the PS5, XBOX 4, Wii 3 come out and return to consoles in full force.
