Really? These are for the most part terrific, classic games. I'd say this is on the low end of what Nintendo could charge for them. They're dramatically better than most $1-$5 games around anyway, especially on phones. Classics like Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion and Minish Cap (not evening counting if they release the old Final Fantasies from GBA) are well worth $10-$15, let alone $6. At some point you have just pay a bit of a premium to reward developers and not encourage a race to ...

Why would they, out of nowhere, share their first ever opinion/info on a ND? Probably nothing, yes but it seems like an odd time to start doing so especially with Amazon UK taking those pre-orders.

I can't be the only person who thought it was awkward every time the IGN guyed touch him right?

@MultiConsoleGamer. That isn't a poor excuse, its pretty much a cardinal rule when it comes to being a gamer on a budget. Whether you like this post or not, just take away from it that calling means absolutely nothing at retail chains, especially ones the size of Sams, WalMart, Target, etc.

Also, I'd like to add MultiConsoleGamer that you don't seem to be aware that if you show proof of a Sam's Club selling an item (like these Wii Us) at a lower price at a Sa...

Clearly you haven't heard of the "do not call" rule, which any thrify shopper knows that 99% of stores won't bother to check the real price of anything if you call. Also, I highly doubt all 612 stores were called too. There are numerous people posting about how they've gotten Wii Us for low prices, mostly around $150, by actually going into a local store and trying their luck. You should know that calling never, ever works for these big chains. Employees never check anyt...

Revelations plays like RE4, just with cramped areas and less enemies. Its a bit more atmospheric but I'd say RE4 more than pre-RE4

Does this include the 3DS version? Capcom's financial report doesn't say HD on it. The 3DS version if I recall sold 600k+ on its own.

Honestly, I really want developers to return to supportin local play. Then again, if you focus on making great experiences that only work well if you've got friends in the room than that means your customers are spending less time on a digital network with less chance to milk them with DLC and micro-transactions so I can see why most don't support it.

Nintendo should just make $249 the normal price point of this bundle. I'm sure some families who want a quasi-next-gen system with no online fees and casual games for their kids could be interested in this.

A lot of things can do 1080p, it all depends on programming. Obviously a Wii U game maxing out its hardware at 1080p may not have as much going on as a XB1/PS4 game running at 720p. You can't just compare resolutions

To be fair BoneBone, you're pointing out the phrasing on N4G in the description. The article itself doesn't say "looks like...." at all

4508d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yea, I could see Nintendo wording it that way. Leaving the 32GB at $299 and theoretically introducing the 8GB again at a lower price point. It technically wouldn't be a price drop, it'd be a newer, cheaper SKU (even if its the reshuffling of an old SKU)

You didn't even read the entire article where they say that Nintendo said that exact same statement last year, that they wouldn't cut the system's price before they ended up cutting its price by $50 like two months later? Doesn't look like impeccable investigative reading on your part. I mean, there's even a link in the post to when Nintendo said in June that they wouldn't cut the price, yet they announce one two months later.

Of course he'd say that

Didn't MS say at X1 reveal that this deal would extend through next-gen? If so, what happened between May 2013 and now?

4510d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

With 360/PS3 yea, 80 milion people have each of those. Going forward though, I think if people are debating XB1 or PS4, the fact that PS4 will get this DLC at the same time or only a week later would probably be one less card in MS's deck in terms of marketing.

I'm all for the X1 doing great commercially, but I told people the $500 price tag would give it a huge tanking in sales come January 2014. I thought the PS4 would decrease in sales too but its sold out so I was terribly wrong about that. For MS, it just depends on how bad January sales are. TitanFall may push systems but can one game, a brand new ip with no story (traditional story mode that is) push a $500 console? I don't know. Remember folks, the Wii U sold 57k last January but tha...

What articles have you read? Did you see the link at the bottom of this story where the site literally calls out Game Informer for lying about Wii U using friend codes and bashes them for it?

4514d ago 12 agree4 disagreeView comment

off the top of my head, Wii U games confirmed for 2014 are: Watch Dogs, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, Yarn Yoshi, Super Smash Bros, SMT x Fire Emblem, Monolith's X, and Bayonetta 2 and that free to play new Steel Diver.

That of course doesn't include any surprises or indie titles.
