Short is ok, that't to be expected from a vr game. But there's short and there's demo sized.
@EvertonFC
Mega jank or short playtime is the only thing that could kill the potential in this one, as I see it. And I don't really believe that they would go with something super short.
I'm very optimistic, they really just need to combine Re4 Remake with Metro last Light and we're golden.
It looked very much like a proper metro game in vr. I'm mostly worried about its length. Hopefully atleast 6+ hours and not 2.
Would probably rate it a little higher, but not impressed. Though there are some visually interesting things and there's also some nice touches to the music. Monster is also pretty cool.
Wouldn't call it flip flopping, so far main projects are ps and one smaller side project is for xbox.
Yeah, it's kinda nice knowing that we'll get something like this at some point.
It will not be better, it will simply "be" on playstation.
But perhaps it's a hybrid game where the vr features are so awesome that other versions will feel lesser? One can dream.
Could make sense if it was a spin-off by a side studio and if it was partly funded by Sony and or meta.
Starfields 30fps was the least of that games problems.
From earlier Sop's I think it's safe to assume that there'll be an emphasis on games releasing this year. So probably more focus on Rise of Ronin, FFVII and such than on unannounced games. I would keep expectations in check, but who knows, maybe there's a surprise, which isn't Concord.
Some rumours say new Metro.
DS2 date and gameplay seems plausible. Silent Hill 2 also seems likely, though I'm not sure Sony has ever acknowledged that it exists. So wondering if maybe Konami would do their own Sh2 blowout at some point.
New announcements? Wouldn't count on it. Sounds like a third party thing. Best case they finally show us Concord. But I assume it:s mostly for upcoming stuff.
I don't think they fired management and the shareholders.
They could have cancelled it and assembled new teams with new games instead of firing everyone. They have the money to do that.
A lot of talebt will leave imthe industry. It's too hard to get job security. I know a lot of industry people are considering exit plans.
Not in this capacity, we aren't even past january and the amount of layoffs is almost near half as many as in 2023, which was a record year for the industry. It's dark times indeed.
Well, that's atleast 1900 people who are less tha enthused about the merger. But atleast MS just crossed a 3 trillion dollar market cap, so all is fine.
It isn't, but a lot of the pals are obviously based directly on Pokemon designs. It's probably not illegal, just a little derivative and boring.
I think the way to go is to pick and choose services on a monthly basis. But yeah, it's a mess. Also hard to keep track of where to see the films and series you want to watch. I find a lot simpler to just buy the dvd at this point.
Maybe everyone is playing it on gamepass. Or maybe it wasn't good enough to be as popular Skyrim.
