Not really Bayonetta tbh. More like a cross between a Souls title and Nier. Expected it to be a bit more fast paced than it actually is. Is faster than souls, but still kinda slow ane methodical compared to a Bayonetta styled game.
@-Foxtrot
From what I gather they'd rather do Avowed and Outer worlds at this point. Doesn't sound like the current Obsidian really desires to go back to New Vegas at this time.
Talking about cars is fun if you are a car enthusiast. Just saying.
@Terry_B
GT7 actually has 4 player splitscreen. Which is wild in this day and age.
I really enjoy the gran turismo mode in 3. Played it a lot last year and enjoy how it's a lot more hardcore than newer titles. It's harder to get new cars, but also very satisfying when you do. You really feel that fight up the ladder.
MS probably didn't make them do it. But they didn't object either.
I don't know, young people seem to make games that look like stuff from the 90s themselves, so I don't really think a lot of them need to adjust that much. Atleast not the type of people that would play a jrpg.
Even the first remaster of Tlou was neccesary. Not of all of us has a ps3 ready to use.
Also Dark Forces, Quake, Doom and so on. I like that older games are finally being made available. It's a good thing.
You seem like you need a hug. Must be sad to live with such a paranoid worldview.
Might take the opporyunity to kill off the older forza games. People can still play Forza 5-7 and I'm not sure Microsoft enjoys that, delisted them ages ago. Now they can finally kill them off for good.
Gamers make a mountain out of a molehile. I remember Bayonetta, 1 journalist was critical and gave the game a 7 because of it. And then months of whining commenced.
Same with Stellar Blade. Two people, one DF guy in a podcast who started the thing and one journalist on Ign France. This is a nothing burger if there ever was one.
Because the character is a part of the game.
But you are only allowed to talk about some parts of the game, wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of snowflakes. It's an opinion piece, it's 1 persons opinion, turning this into a crusade is idiotic. Disagree and move on.
A little dissapointed by the demo. It seems goof, but was hoping for something more in the vein of DMC, but it's more of a souls like. Feels like a game where you should be able to use longer combos. Hope the skilltree fixes this in a satisfying way.
This whole Stellar Blade thing is the single most idiotic thint thar has happened in gaming in years. It really shows how frail gamer snowflakes really are. Basically launched by a couple of comments from one of the guys from Digital Foundry. He said his opinion in a podcast and gamers got butthurt and the thing snowballed. It's stupid and embarrasing to witness.
Two people on the planet has critized the mc in Stellar Blade and now the game is the savior of videogames b...
I just get the impression that lots of people were dissapointed. They kinda removed the one thing that gave their games appeal, leaving you with just the jank.
I'm sure there are tons of fans, but it's one of the more contentious releases from Bethesda (still mixed reviews on steam). I'm sure Fallout 76 also have fans, but no one would claim it was a fan favorite.
I think to some people this doesn't matter. xbox won, Starfield is game of the decade.
Super Mario Wonder or Zelda would probably ruin the story.
But it needs to make money. We'll never know if it did. But maybe a lot of people just paid for 1 month of gamepass and that was that. I'm glad I didn't pay, never want to play it again. By far the worst Bethesda rpg.
Everybody would want to play it, as everyone played Skyrim. But that doesn't mean it'll have staying power. I don't believe it will have as strong legs as Skyrim had.
I don't think fusion is the way forward. It will mosy likely be too late when it's finally ready, meaning it will probably never be ready. Something else might arrive before though and then it becomes viable.
