I doubt holograms is the future of gaming.
@Therealtedcruz
Guess it depends. Someone who never owned a ps could probably find great value, depending on their taste. And gamepass isn't available on ps. so not really an option for people without xbox or pc. I think it's fairly easy to find good games on there.
Depends on what you want from a service. I'm not looking for something to replace game purchases, I just view it as a cheap way to try a ton of games.
@realtedcruz
There's a lot of stuff on there that'll never come to gamepass, like Nioh 1-2, God of War, Days Gone, Horizon, Last of Us 2, Bloodborne and so forth.
Personally I bought a month to play Red dead 2 and Judgment and ended up playing several hours of Slay the Spire, Dirt Rally and Frostpunk. There's like 2-300 ps4 titles, it should be possible to find a handful of games worth playing.
Seems to be something they can't shake off without a rebrand, psnow has been decent for years.
No matter what they add, Psnow will always suck. Despite being the home of several well regarded ps exclusives and both Nioh games. Probably wouldn't hurt with some newer stuff, but they've had day one releases on ps+ every month last year, so perhaps it's coming when they relaunch.
I think there's a pretty good library of games on Now, even if you only look at downloadable titles. Probably wouldn't subscribe permanently, but I pay once in a while.
Spelunky is new to xbox.
It's a point'n click adventure with rpg element. So yeah.
lol, apparently peoole didn't notice all the lgbt stuff in the first game. I thought that was poison to gamers.
@BenRC01
The first game is packed with wokeness, but guess you never noticed? :p
It's an open world game, it will be unethical and anti consumer to omit police chases.
Gamers have always been insufferable. It has nothing to do with the source. More of an online problem.
True, but they do a better job creating the illusion.
But if you want a crime sandbox where you fuck around with police and stuff, Cyberpunk isn't the answer and it was never meant to be. It's about the story, the missions and the atmosphere. This can work without police chases. It really is the least of the games problems. The bugs were an issue, but it got a whole lot better last february.
Tbf, Cyberpunk has more in common with Deus Ex than with GTA, so maybe it's silly to expect the game to be comparable to GTA.
None of it is bad per se, but perhaps it's nice to be offered more variety across the board?
Imagine if Guerilla had used similar tech as Matrix, but with their art direction and 4 years of development. If Epic could pull off Matrix in a year, imagine what an even more talented team could pull off with more time.
One the strenghts of Ue5 is that it streamlines a lot of stuff, so development gets easier.
They would need to maintain the color palette and find a way to deal with some of the camera angles. The alley sequence wouldn't work nearly as well without the fucked up camera angles.
Let's not forget that they made the demo in a year.
I was expecting an imsim i the style of Deus Ex, but larger and with more content, and that's basically what it is. There's a lot of fun missions and the main story is interesting. I'd recommend to fans of the genre.
5? More like 10+. But I'm so excited, Armored Core V and Verdict Day rocks!
