I wanted this to be good, because the initial trailers reminded me of 90s styled techno/cyberpunk thrillers like Johnny Mnemonic, Freejack, Strange Days and so on. Even a bit of Neuromancer in the way it's sci-fi but not at all Blade Runner. I love that stuff, grounded realistic sci-fi.
But then you get all the reports of a bad work enviroment, the nft spin-off platform and the broken guided previews. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But I hope it's atleast...
Is the retro classics for all consoles?
We got a bunch of Armored Core games three months, can't be that bad.
Can't help but feel that this article lista a mixed bunch of retro games and then point to a shorter list of mixed retro games and claims it's an issue? I would love it if they did more and I think it's going too slow, but I don't see how Nintendos 2025 offering is any better so far this year even if I do enjoy their service.
Those three AC games alone trumps everyth...
Some leaks seem a bit pointless. There's a whole industry around leaking games hours before a presentation, not sure what anyone gains from it. If the game is years away it might be interesting, but if the announcement is days away, why bother?
Some leakers are just people with access to a youtube backend that can see the titles of some trailers or whatever. I don't see how it helps anyone.
They did choose an odd time to throw in the towel. If they keep this up, they might have been able to make a return with the next console.
Though it's also nice that you don't have to buy all consoles to play all games.
They do have the arcade collections.
I wish we could get the ps2 version of Capcom VS Snk 2, it had some really fun survival modes and a color edit and an editor to customize your isms or whatever they called them.
Blue prince and Alone in the dark 2 is pretty nice
I think it's more likely that they will end up raising the US price as punishment for the tariffs.
If it's free, it's probably just basic stuff like resolution and whatever fps benefits new hardware provides.
When they charge, they probably put slightly more effort in, like more work done to visuals than just upscaling. Atleast I hope that's the case.
It seems everyone hates it online due to price, so might be easy.
I also hope it will be easy, atleast not a repeat of ps5 because that was a nightmare.
I just learned that it isn't a multiplayer pvp game. Didn't know it was singleplayer, so probably need to check it out.
It's the current best selling game on ps5, but it's actually flopping hard? Sure.
And all three were made by people who were seriously burned out on Tomb Raider.
It's only free speech if your main character is male.
In reality there is no issue. It's just a bunch of weirdos being insane on twitter and youtube. It's an industry at this point. These people care about the anti-woke conversation they don't give a shit about video games, they just want to whine about non-issues and complain.
It's also secretly pretty good by now.
Bugger, just bought Veilguard 1 month ago.
An easy solution would be to drop the American market. That would generally seem like a decent strategy for everyone going forward.
Might hurt a bit at first, but restructure and rethink. If Russia can be boycut, so should their puppets.
That's the good thing about using known IP. There's a constant new influx of gamers every year and a lot of these people are spiderman fans, so they will play it.
It does, but I'm not sure it matters to MS, sales are not their goal currently. They only care about growing gamepass.
Though you could also point to Expedition 33 and make the opposite claim.
