There was a RPG spike for the 360 when Infinite and Tales came, but it seems to be over now, and the 360 is still dead last by far...
The difference is PS3 has 4 times the install base of 360 in Japan, so the 360 is the dead one right there.
what are you talking about ? 360 is still dead last in Japan, they sold 10k consoles, half last week. The 'Infinite Undiscovery' spike seems to be over and 360 slowly crawls back to the 3k sold it made before.
You DO realize that 10k consoles is nothing, don't you ? Japanese don't buy any next gen console right now, be it PS3 or 360, but PS3 install base is still much bigger.

I'm in the beta, it's one of the best games ever... It will be pure madness.
In my opinion, it's clearly worth 10/10 even in beta stage, but some MS affiliated sites (gamespot, eurogamer, kotaku...) will never give 10 to a PS3 game.
And you know what ? We won't care. Most people don't look at metacritic, and it's nice they don't because this is so full of crap.
Is GTA 4 worth 98 % ? Any serious gamer will tell this game is very boring after a while, it's worth 90 % at most... Metacritic and reviews mean nothing, let's enjoy the game.

GTA4 had much more popin issues on 360 due to no hard drive used, so the PS3 version was clearly the best choice.
Lead platform used to be the 360, now it's mostly the PS3 (mirror's edge, fifa 09...)

Of course it's MS money, genius... Why would Bethesda risk irritating their PS3 fans is their was no money involved. It would make no sense at all. Every multiplat tries to be exactly the same on every console, didn't you notice that ?
That's called business. I still think it's useless, the 50 M$ MS paid for GTA4 could have been used for a real game, not a DLC nobody cares.
@Mr Bun : OF COURSE MS is paying for this... (rolleyes) Why would they favor a console otherwise ? They don't care you know... But it's still a marketing blunder by MS. It didn't help much with GTA, and it won't here either. DLC simply doesn't mean that much when you have 60+ hours games.
People are fed up of the games long before they reach the DLC. MS should spend their money on games, they didn't make any AAA exclusive this year (like MGS4 or Wipeout...).

I have to agree with Ape, PS3 kills everything right now. LBP is now the game to own, Home is around the corner, Too Human flopped and Gears of Wars 2 looks subpar compared to resistance 2, according to the previews.
Except that the PS3 still has the slicker and most beautiful interface even after XBL upgrade, and that's even before Home.
People like me have been using their PS3 as a media center since 2 years now, MS is a bit late to the party I think...

They have not been announced because there are none. Which AAA exclusive did you have on 360 this year ? None, ok. (Too Human ? no)
I had MGS 4, Wipeout + all the others AA+ exclusive games.
LBP is about to come, and nothing comes close to it on 360, I don't play with sales so I don't care if it sells more or less than Gears of Wars 1.1, but I guess it will sell well since people are talking a lot about it now.
