MS has nothing against LBP and other casual games like EyePet and it's already dying without that... There's no competition, really...
I don't understand what you say. PS3 IS the number one system worldwide in sales, even since 2007. Check the numbers...
If you talk about install base, then PS2 is by far the number 1 system.

Who cares about NA anymore with China or India ? Today the US are just a cheap country where Europeans make their shopping (dollar is so weak games cost me 60 percent less if I buy them there, shipping included, I'm not joking).
360 is destroyed worldwide by the PS3, that's all that matters.
By the way, they're deeply outsold by the PS3 every month in NA too...

The thing is even at this price, PS3 is still a better deal because of blueray and all the games to come like LBP, Res 2, KZ 2, GoW 3, Heavy Rain...

360 and PS3 are NOT similar... No blueray, no standard hard drive, no wifi, no LBP, no MGS4, no GoW3, no GT5, no FF13 Vs, no Home...
Even if it's worth 50 $ I just don't care about the Xbox 360, it has nothing I like... People buy what they like, look at Mac and Ipod...
I think it's the real Xbox 360 value... not much.
It's still a desperate move but what could they do ? They're dead in Japan and widely outsold everywhere in the world.

I don't understand the point of this blog... MS is outsold every month worldwide by a wide margin, Xbox is even already dead in Japan, nobody doubts now that Sony will soon be in front in install base (except a few fanboys maybe ?).
A flop in quality (Too Human) is not the same thing as a flop in sales.
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were flops in sales. Does it make them bad games ?

MS already said there were shortages in the US, it was then proven false when PS3 constantly outsold 360, and even much more AFTER the so called 'shortages'. It's a well known marketing tactic to try to increase demand, nothing new here.
