Nothing except RROD and failure is coming to crapbox 180 anyway.
Too bad it would be the only thing which could save the 360 right now for one year or two.
MS simply doesn't have the games to compete anymore. You can't fight LBP and MGS4 with Too Human.

no, even with the late price cut, PS3 still outsold 360 WORLDWIDE (stop looking only at the US please) this year like last year.
That says a lot about the relative values of PS3 and 360. Consumers consider the 360 as pure $hit.
MS has lost much more with Xbox 1 and they're about to give up on the gaming market, that's why they stopped hiring and closed studios...

In Jason's fantasy world of Xbox, HDDVD won, Too Human is the game of the year, 360 never rrods and it's very successful in Japan.

MS is closing its studios one after the other, it looks like they're about to give up on gaming, since their only chance to compete with Sony was to keep their studios and buy other ones. What exclusive did the 360 had this year ? Too Human ? Give me a break, it's dead...
The fact that they stopped hiring for the Xbox division doesn't bode well either. The desperate price cut and the 'casual gamers' orientation are their last try before admitting defeat.

I think MS just gave up on the 360... It was already rather obvious looking at this year miserable exclusive lineup by the way.
Xbox just costs too much for MS. Right now they're being beaten on every front (from OS to music to web), and they had to cut losses on gaming, hence their decision to close studios.
I think MS will abandon the gaming market much sooner than people think, probably as soon as 2010 or 2011.
