Nope it's the second week now, last week PS3 outsold 360 6:1 and destroyed in one week any margin 360 had accumulated in 7 JRPG weeks before (the only 7 weeks where 360 ever sold more than PS3 in Japan by the way).
We can now safely assume the 360 is dead in Japan.
If PS3 is diving, what does it say about the 360 since PS3 still outsells it by 4:1 this week again...

@crunchie : you must live under a rock. In real world, PS3 outsold 360 worldwide last year and this year too. The install base gap is slowly nearing zero in spite of a full year headstart.
Actually, the 360 is dead in Japan (it was outsold 6:1 last week in Japan by the PS3 and even under 1 million units there), and it's behind in install base in Europe now, the biggest gaming market. Its survival now depends only on the US.

Don't trust metacritic either. Look at Gears 2 reviews, you'll see they translated A / A+ from 1UP to 100 (which can't be true or A+ would mean 110), then they translated A- from gaming age on motorstorm 2 to 91... I told them the mistake, they did nothing, of course.
It just doesn't make sense. Most review websites either got paychecks from microsoft or are owned by MS fanboys since mostly they're American. <...

It means 3 things :
- REAL 360 install base is much smaller than expected due to massive RROD failure rate, which is even today widely unerestimated. Many 360 players bought 5 or 6 360, but of course they buy only 1 copy of their games.
- 360 owners are younger and so they have less money to spend on games.
- People who own both consoles choose PS3 version more and more often, since you don't have to pay for online and it's basically the same game on b...
So much for the "RROD is a thing of the past" comments...
M$ has never completely fixed the flaws in their console, which is insulting for its customers.
It's a really fantastic game, clearly worth more than 90%. I picked it up and played it a few months ago. I like that the action settles in school. You can date multiple girls, and there's a really nice dungeon crawling at night, with random events.
One of the best PS2 games in my opinion, and that says a lot considering the gems you can find on this console. Only minus is the music is a bit repetitive after 50+ hours of play ^^
