I guess I'll stick with IGN, one of the only websites MS couldn't buy until now. It gave Resistance 2 a 9.5 / 10, that's all I need to know.
@Jonah : Blueray market share doubled since HDDVD death, it's gaining ground everywhere. You'll have to learn to live with this success and with HDDVD failure. Denial is only the first stage.

Websites are mostly american and pro 360, so yeah it's very hard for MS games to be rated better.
Still, IGN said LBP was the best game, and gave the same score to Resistance 2 and Gears 2 (the only AAA exclusive this year on MS console), so we know the truth.
I have to say it's an exception, like when your 360 doesn't RROD on you, you know ;)
I have dozens of examples which show you're wrong, like the LBP review, or Resistance 2, or Motorstorm... Or Fable 2 which got 10/10 and was not even AAA according to metacritic (89 %).

MS fanboys are very nervous nowadays, it's nice to see they finally got one AAA game this year.
I still need more reasons to buy a 360 though, exclusives list look very poor from now on. (unless I miss something ?)

Of course Gears 2 is getting good reviews, according to IGN it's even on par with Resistance 2 (but not on par with LBP). I was one of the first to acknowledge that.
I trust IGN simply because from my experience, they're not biased. They like both PS3 and 360, which is much more than what you can say about Eurogamer, 1UP, Gametrailers or Kotaku... Hence their reviews matter for me, since I can't b...
There is a 'bug' in metacritic, they show 1UP rated this as 100, which they didn't since they gave A / A+. If A is 100, A+ is 120 ?

Metacritic is highly MS biased anyway since most review sites are American and pro 360.
