This is Virtual Console news. Capcom isn't making anything new for Mega Man yet, at all. It saddens me, and it also kinda dampens any "They should make a new Mega Man for X system" argument.
Hoping that they let Atlus do its thing as if they just had outside investors and reaped some of the profits. It's not in Sega's best interest to micromanage a company who has done so well in the past, basically holding up their sketchy old corporate overlords as they bungled other industries.
They haven't sunk Creative Assembly yet, right? Let's hope for the best. Also, there's no guarantee that Sega won't just put their trust in the management of Atl...
Eh. The article doesn't have much to do with the amount of any violence. It's the requirement to perform a couple of acts to get through the story. He seemed fine with creating open-world carnage, he just couldn't take the overall narrative's tone. To each his own. I'll probably get to this game once it hits PC or PS4 and see how I feel about it.
CAMELS
Also, I can't wait. I'm a longtime fan of the series and this story-focused revamp is an interesting idea!
When someone gives an article this title and then even mentions GameRankings, I get a little skeptical. The gaming press may have thought Metacritic wasn't a good thing for the industry, but a good number of them don't depend at all on Metacritic. Why the score focus? A good amount of the reviews I read said the game was mixed - wonderful mechanics, a deep and difficult-in-a-good-way design, but also packed with filler in the form of playing a palette-swap of sorts of each boss, over ...
I think the answer is "When Square gives its fans what they want." Hopefully the new CEO has some stuff in the works.
"Nintendo, who should be pioneering indie development considering their legacy, have denied support of indie developers in Japan. This closed minded philosophy is holding back a lot of potential and new talent with new ideas. And that right there is their biggest problem."
That's only half of the story. Nintendo may not be supporting those game designers in Japan without a publisher, but there are publishing companies in Japan who actually respect designers taki...
I think they usually do make sense in context. For example, Eva - she's more of a sexual person than just dressed up to be sexually objectified, and like a proper subversion of a Bond Girl, she uses that sexuality to trick even Big Boss by the end of the game. The Boss, on the other hand, wasn't very sexualized - she was fit, for sure, because she's The Freaking Boss.
The Beauty and the Beast ones from MGS4 are a little more questionable. The secret camera-using m...
I get it, but I'm really sick of the "immature" or "mature" tags. If we mean "intended for an older audience" by mature, I think we're overestimating our average adult.
I don't expect Kojima to stop sexualizing only women in his games while idealizing men - at best, he'll stylize the game enough that her character design fits into the overall world, some deliberate movie callback or something.
You know what movie ...
How many companies did the same thing to Call of Duty or Monster Hunter? Or, heck, to Mega Man back in the day, albeit badly? Final Fantasy? Usually people do a "Like (insert game here) but" when a franchise is making a lot of money. At least here, Inafune is making a Megaman-like game in a world where Capcom throws Megaman under the bus while a rabid fanbase just stands by. This is the best -like idea I've seen in a while, and it shouldn't warrant a court case unless there&...
Oh, the film industry isn't disagreeing at all... http://www.rollingstone.com...
If you have PS Plus, it's time to get Tokyo Jungle and Dyad. Dyad if you like insanely fast stuff and a great use of color. Tokyo Jungle if... you're breathing and/or the day ends in Y.
I'm confused too, I think it's a technicality thing. Like, you can only enter your game as one console's game. For example - Titanfall wins best next-gen console game, Battlefield 4 wins best PC game. Both are going to be on PC and at least one console, and not enough info is out there about the differences between the versions. So... I'm guessing it's whatever it was presented on in the floor display/demo, or sent to judges.
Still, congrats Sony! Can'...
Here, just read this synopsis instead of clicking:
Instead of trying to prove the title of the article, the author just complains about a few comments found on Eurogamer, IGN, and The Telegraph (really?). Stuff about console minutiae. It's dumb. Three people do not a population make.
Seems really in line with the original, just replacing the Mode 7 stuff with some really nice-looking polygonal 3D here and there. Even the bosses are still modified smaller enemies like the original.
They screwed themselves badly with the in-house graphics engine work last gen, but I'm not so sure that they're screwed in this upcoming generation. It looks like the engine Square made is something that bridges their past-gen, not reinventing the wheel the way their XIII engine did - I mean, it looks like they brought the PS3 Versus work over to this new system, not just redid the whole thing. With any luck, they made a framework that can scale, be used on portables too, and could be...
Funny, that video is how I react when I try to use the Ouya controller.
I'm just waiting for The Conference In Which Persona 5 Is Announced. Will this be it?
Oh, wonderful. I bought Code of Princess three days ago. *sigh*.
While I liked the article plenty, the thing I found to be the most interesting was that I had no idea about 428. I was like "What is that game? It sounds familiar, but..."
Oh. It's a visual novel by Chunsoft. Just like 999, one of my favorite games ever, except this one will probably never ever see localization...
KUSOOOOOOOOO!!!!
As far as perfect goes, I don't think I'm interested in finding the perfect game. Games de...
