I knew they'd have the top few, but this many? Geez. This makes me pretty excited for their new move to localize more of their games that they previously deemed "too Japanese" for us. If they just took a bit more risks in the States, they'd have an audience they didn't know they needed on board.
Also, the first PS3 game on the list was a Western title... It's GTA, so of course it is, but still, that's pretty important as far as the market's ...
Oh, there's a reason, and that reason is Square-Enix currently, officially, doesn't know its own creative talent and valuable IPs from a hole in the wall. I hope that new CEO's busy behind the scenes cleaning up their act and they'll have some sensible releases coming soon.
Yeah, the article itself isn't that interesting - Natsume knows that they've been working on getting GBA games running, but Nintendo said they were working on that ever since the Ambassador titles came out. The emulation is fine, someone just needs to build a little bit of an overlay and a saving structure on top. It's not rocket science, they just need to decide to pay some people to do it.
But Advance Wars! Intelligent Systems needs to make a new one of those, ...
I really wish they just made a powerful handheld with an HDMI-connected cradle and a separate controller. If they're really going to make yet another pair of systems instead of just one, I feel like they're missing out on something both lucrative and practical.
I'd love to see Crackdown 3 on PC, as modding on that game would be amazing.
Good deals on games that I want to play will totally make me buy the game - be it on Steam, Desura, GOG, Humble, etc. I love it - I've spent about $120, the price of two day-one triple-A's, on games that have consumed my life for about three months and counting. For a guy who isn't into multiplayer, that's pretty good.
Heck, the three bucks I spent on Spelunky HD alone has eaten hours and hours of my daily time.
Nintendo: "Here's how we'll make more money. Ready?"
Investors: "Okay, go!"
N: "We'll make an mobile app for Club Nintendo and the eShop! Now you can buy games on there and we'll send push notifications!"
I: "...games to play on mobile devices, right?"
N: "No, stupid! To play on WiiU! We'll totally sell more of those."
I: "Um..."
Oh, good lord. If BG&E2 gets confirmed for the next-gens, but not PC, then screw it - I'm headed to the store to pick up a PS4. Not many big games will sway me that much!
It's all old music, including Sanodg's stuff. Nice enough selection, and they kept the best menu music, too.
WATCH_NintenDOGS confirmed :)
Actually, that would be a crazy mashup. Like, if you were a dog hacker, and the entire city were filled with pets.
I can already see the speedruns in my mind's eye... ;)
LOL @ Cash for Gold, but come on, Jimmy! Hitting something and losing currency? That's a Sonic thing.
Maybe. Or maybe it's a member of his legal team who informed him, which is way more boring, but also way more likely...
If you're a fan, and you wanted to see better graphics last year without a high-end PC, the value of it is how happy it made you, really. And that's totally subjective, but at least the PS4's pretty impressive, with a user interface that at least works, in comparison to that other one that depends on voice search... ahem... to do anything.
Sees the headline... "Oh, lemme guess, Final Fantasy XV is #1. Persona 5 is #2."
While I was right about those, I was impressed by how popular Basara/Musou still are, at #s 3 and 4! Also, I didn't even know about Freedom Wars. This was informative!
Finally! Someone who doesn't spell his last name "Patcher!"
It's good to be the King.
...Dot Com.
(oh man, that movie is old, I'm old. *sob*)
"You see, you’re the reason bloody Knack outsold Super Mario 3D World. You’re the reason there’s Angry Birds merchandise in a bunch of stores."
Those are NOT the same people.
"You’re the reason people like PewDiePie make god knows how much money on YouTube by dribbling and squawking over a bunch of Amnesia rip offs."
Those are ALSO not the same people.
"Remember how the utterly joyful Beyond Good and ...
Vita owners, get hyped for TxK. Anyone who knows about Tempest 2000 will tell you that you're incredibly lucky for getting that as an exclusive!
Let's say they're very "not talked about." That kind of rating, not the 9/10 rating stuff. I mean, I listen to friggin' Retronauts every time they release a podcast, and *they* hardly touch the color-era GB titles. It was a weird time, and it should be explored a bit more!
