I was never impressed by the cod gameplay. I traded in cod4 after not being able to stomach the lackluster controls and gameplay. That's what I get for falling for the hype. For a year all I heard was how amazing a game cod4 was... What an utter disappointment. No way I was going to pony up another 60 dollars on mw2. For all the crap that killzone 2 got , it still is king in my book until kz3 drops. It is such a better alternative to this mass market bs in every way.
I respectfully disagree, along with most of the sane free world when I say, that until we see it, it doesn't exist. Put up or shut up.
Gow3 could only be done on a ps3 and a high end computer. Other than that, I don't know of any other current platforms that could handle gow3 in it's current state. If anyone has any examples of any games that can rival it on any other platform besides the ps3, please be so kind as to point them out to us.
I don't even need to read up on this game much. Any game company who can create masterpieces like ico and shadow of the collosus gets an instant pass in my book. They don't even need to show up for class, they get an A+ automatically .

Mass Effect is gonna be huge.
They will have a much better year than last, but I think it will be just them catching up to Sony
and the quality titles they are bringing out. They have a big game dropping practically every month. Unfortunately for them, Sony will not be resting on their laurels and they will be dropping Hiroshima magnitude bombs on the populace as well.

Mass effect was the first game to give me the feeling of space exploration in an rpg. That feeling is the holy grail of sci-fi rpg's - being captain of your own ship, exploring the galaxy. Kotor touched on it, but ME took it one step further. I hope that all the good stuff I've been hearing is true.

I happen to aggree on both points concerning KZ2 & Demon's souls. Two of the most awesome games of 09. If you don't like it, feel free to take a long walk off of a short pier. Or better yet, go play in traffic blindfolded... whatever floats your boat. :P
I'll check another fps out. See what they have to offer. But KZ2 is the perfect storm of FPS for me at the moment. Been that way since Feb.

I am playing through me1 a second time right now on my 360 to boost my level when the second one drops, but the general poor quality of the 360 console makes it a chore. I have to save every couple of minutes to avoid losing my progress due to the infamous "dirty disc errors". Nothing is worse than killing a messload of geth, streaking across the galaxy and having to restart the game because by 360 crapped out on me for the umpteenth time.
