What? Did you guys think that Killzone2 , Uncharted 2 , Ratchet & Clank, Gran Tourismo & God Of War 3 were the best that the ps3 could do? Are you guys sniffing glue? We are just going to have to agree to disagree on this one. There is simply a fundamental difference in opinion on which game has the better gameplay. For myself, KZ2 was a revelation in FPS. It was an experience that drew me in and made me a believer. I did not have the same feeling about Halo or Halo 3. As a matter of fact , I have yet to finish Halo 3 due to extreme boredom. Played GOW collection in the morning & MAG last night. No issues at all. Maybe only those with bad Karma are being effected.

The controls are great as is, but if they could find a way to integrate the arc and make it work effectively, then I say more power to them -- and to gamers in general. The arc already is the more practical of the motion control options and I would love to give it a go.
3d? This is also possible but not very much so. They already use some of the 3d effect on the load screens, but I don't think that the tech is up to par yet. Maybe in 20 years or so.
I'm a little disappointed with ME2 and its lack of emotional impact, but I feel that HR could remedy that. The demo is thick with atmosphere and tension and I have high hopes for it.
I knew that this ip was overhyped. I'm no big fps veteran, but I know what I like. When I played the previous MW - which I bought after a year because of all the wonderful things I heard about it - I was sorely disappointed. I knew that the next one would be more of the same.
There's a bit of a learning curve at the start & I haven't had the time to devote to the game yet.
This affects me in NO WAY AT ALL.

If I really wanted another Valve game, I would have bought it a while ago. I own the orange box for 360 & that's about it. I don't care about left 4 dead one bit.
Actually what have they done for consoles besides those two franchises that would make anyone crazy about the? It's not like they have some vast library of games that the ps3 is missing out on.
The developers over at SONY are operating on all cylinders. They top themselves with every iteration.
I honestly think that this is just the start. The PS3 is designed to offer up its goodies over a long period of time. As time goes by the games will only look better & better.

This could be disaster, or they could surprise us and step their game up. It could never reach the brilliance of Uncharted because it will certainly be multiplat, but it could get in the ballpark.
What they should really re-do is the Soul-Reaver franchise. To this day that playstation1 title is a memorable masterpiece, and one of my top 10 games of all time.
