This 3D stuff is way too soon, way too fast. Most homes dont even have an hdtv in them yet. Why are they so gung ho on pushing 3D on us?
Well no, actually it means that I'm gonna have to hear alot of annoying fanbois from now until a month after it's release when everyone has forgotten about it lik every other aaa game.
The games are going to have to be good to get me to spend my $. Same with Move, however I can see more practical game applications with Move than Natal. And additionally, how many older 360's is this addition going to brick?
In the meantime, enjoy the bevy of excellent games that are already out and coming out. You can't rush perfection.
If crytek are able to beat killzone 2 in graphics, which realistically I expect at this point, and take into account that they are relative newcomers to ps3 dev compared to guerrilla, I quake at thought of how killzone 3 will be. It's games like crysis and killzone that will spearhead technical skill on the consoles. Killzone 2 has already done so for reach, arguably.

Remember, 360 game prices fall like your grandma on a marble staircase coated with butter. Save yourself some sweet cash and be patient.
I am never, ever , ever going to buy a 360 exclusive game at launch ever ever again. For some reason, 360 games drop in price far far faster than PS3 games, and at a steeper dive. If I wait long enough, I can get it new AND at a crazy price.
Every time twisted metal gets mentioned it is followed with what can only be described as wild adoration. I personally don't get it. I played the earlier versions and the earth didn't move for me from doing so. Why do people seem to like this series so much?
I have both a 360 & a ps3 and I still have no interest in this based solely on my history playing the other games in the franchise. Awful mechanics, stiff movement, and stupid enemies that can't figure out that if some unseen assailant is shooting out light bulbs with a silencer, than maybe they should call in for some backup or something. Just dumb. SC works as a concept, not in practice.
I'm really hoping that it offers a great modern age rpg experience with some innovative features and game elements. This game is definitely on my radar.
This is only going to effect a tiny portion of ps3 owners as most people use the ps3 for it's primary purpose. If you want to blame someone, blame your fellow hacker.
1. Bring back the 4 character model ( Hakka etc).
2. Bring back secondary fire.
3. Focus on story (GG talk to ND plz)
4. Go to Veckta, different enviornments.
5. Tweak controls, or offer a multitude of settings so I don't have to hear the babies complain to this very day... Find a happy medium.
6. Co-op and split screen would be cool
7. In squads, spawn on any teammate.
8. Give tactitians points for every certain number of people that use their spawn ...

I agree. I will withold final judgement until e3 although at the moment I really haven't seen anything that I can believe/stomache. E3 is do or die as far as the motion control initiative is concerned. I expect that both ms & Sony will be pulling out all the stops.

But really folks, this is nothing new. All companies have different iterations of their products planned way in advance. That way they can incrementally release newer versions of said product and keep the line fresh and new.
I too was not all trhat impressed with the demos that came out at gdc, but this stuff is really piquing my interest. Precision, Body tracking, 3 dimensions...I think this could open up whole new avenues for developers.
