Why did I buy into all the hype about cod4? For so long, I heard how it was such an amazing game...Like frothing at the mouth type praises. I'm not the biggest FPS player, not unless it offers something new & fresh(KZ2). So in Feb, I go to pick up my KZ2 and I say "What the hey?" and pick up the fabled cod4 as well.
What a mistake that was.
Game looks good, but never for a moment felt good. I've had the game since Feb, and I have not been able to st...
DS is the only file I really care about. 90+ hours might be gone forever.
Maybe one of you can help: When my 60 gig died, I had a 500 gig HD in there - it has all my saves. I'm getting the ps3 repaired by Sony and I didn't want them to reformat this drive, so I put the original 60 gig HD it came with back in there before I shipped it out. When it comes back, if I put back that 500 gig HD in there will it just pick up where it left off, or will it treat the old hard drive as a n...
Who knows what could have been with such intangible elements of such a complex equation of what goes on in the gamer's nebulous mental realm?
Either way, sony is doing ok on their own terms. Personally, cod still doesn't do much for me. Every time I try to force my way through the single player, I'm bored to tears. Im currently up to the second level and I've owned the game since Feb.
Forget the article.
That is one helluva good looking woman there...
I am super bummed.
Basically, it's the only save I care about that can not be migrated. I had a 500 GB hd in there as my main. When it died i tried to transport all the saves to an external HD, but not all games allow this. So i put the 60 gb HD back in there and I'm sending it in for repairs. I hope that when I get it back and I put back the 500 gb HD in there, I won't have to reformat the HD and erase all my saves.
Worst part is I can't play demon's souls till ...
Must really get your pink frilly panties in a bunch to see the PS3 stick around and do well.
For me to justify plopping down another 65 bucks on a game when I have this huge backlog of games to finish, the game is going to have to do either of two things: (1) Treat me to a new experience that I have not seen before or, (2) Give me more of what I liked in a previous iteration of the game. At the moment MW does neither of those for me. I’m sure that if you absolutely loved cod4 you are going to go gaga over this one, but for me it’s a no go. I own a used copy cod4 and it does not reall...
I'm really tired of their arrogant comments. Luckily, the PS3 library is such that we do not really need their titles to have a well rounded diet of games. Certain American developers need to take a tip from their Japanese counterparts and conduct their interractions with the public with more class. I for one will never give these obnoxious people any of my money.
Won't even try to talk sense with an obvious mental lightweight.
In my view, they have really hit a chord with this game that is resonating with a lot of gamers. For me, it is an instant classic. I can not remember the last time that I was so obsessed about a game…maybe not since Vagrant Story.
From a business standpoint, this game could be their meal ticket.
Take your time with the sequel FROM. Improve on everything. Fix the ragdoll physics of the dead bodies. Add a little more story. Make the lock-on more precise. Give us mo...
I've noticed that the supporters of "the competition" have been very quiet lately. There was a time when you could not enter a thread about GT without trolls saying how their racer was the "definitive" race game. Now all I hear are crickets.
Interesting.
Thanks for sharing the car Pron. Bubs up.
Dude, I wipe a my butt with a thousand souls on the regular. You get to a point when you don't give a damn about a measly thousand souls...trust me. Just muscle on through to some other levels and you will see. Just concentrate on being methodical & tactical.
The success of DS should lead to a badass part 2.
The one thread that unraveled the entire article.
Unless you like dying a whole bunch at the start.
Because he obviously likes DS...Is obsessed with it really. They really should re-name it demon's crack to be honest. I haven't had a good night's sleep in two weeks due to that damn game. I haven't even tried to play Uncharted 2 as I want to savor that experience unfettered. I simply can not concentrate on anything else until I am done with this game.
Then of course I can go through the NG+'s at my own lazy pace.
But if you have lots of stamina, you can avoid him by rolling out of his area. After that , pelt him with arrows. Also , it helps if you have a few healing herbs & water veil, which that scrub magician sells in nexus. Stay calm, keep your wits about you and he's not that bad.
Lets say Sony and MS are quarter mile runners, two champion sprinters. The only difference is that Sony is a slightly better runner than MS. They are both good enough to make it to the Olympics, but only one can win. So when the gun goes off, MS takes of running, haulin azz, but Sony trips up and falls. For a while it looks this deficit means Sony’s doom , but lo and behold, the superior conditioning of Sony starts to pay off. He dusts himself off and starts to catch up with MS and eventua...
But it's free so I'll take it.
On a side note, it is nice to see so many 360 fans following PS3 stories. That says alot to me. Even though I own both consoles, I haven't been interested enough in any MS news to even comment lately.
